LLoyd (GL), are approved for use on
sea-going ships and inland waterway

Description:
The calibrators of series TP 18000 and TP 18000 S operate with an elec-
tronically controlled, heatabl e and cool abl e aluminium or brass block (de-
pendent on temperature range).
The requi red temperature i s set usi ng a decade swi tch. Preci se adj ust-
ment is performed using a rotary knob.
The bl ock temperature i s di spl ayed on the 3 1 / 2 digit digital display. The
haeting block features a bore hole (diameter on depth, see adjacent table)
servi ng to accommodate the test speci men. Transi ti on sl eeves are used f or
test specimens with smaller diameter.

Servicing calibrators for inspection of:
Thermometers/ machine thermometers
Inspecti on i s performed by compari son of the temperature measured by
the test specimen and the block temperature indicated by the unit.
Temperature switches/thermostats
The test specimen is connected to the two terminal sockets of the unit.
The switch setting respective to the switch point is signaled by the check
indicator.
Resistance thermometers and thermocouples
A separate temperature-measuri ng i nstrument i s requi red for i nspecti on.
We recommend the use of our 4

/2-digit temperature-measuring devices of
Series TT 7200 and TT 31048. The inspection is performed by comparison
of the temperature indicated on the external measuring instrument with the
bl ock temperature.
