Programming Notes:
- When a observation detail Infraction is being added, then the user will have to select an Infraction using the
Lookup icon for Legal Ref. The list generated for available infractions will be based on the standard infractions
lookup algorithm using the following criteria:
REQ_CLASS = {current REQUEST.REQ_CLASS}
OPTION_SYSTEM_CODE = AL (“All”)
OPTION_COMPONENT_CODE = ALL (“All”)
OPTION_CATEGORY_CODE = FDL (“Filing Detail”)
OPTION_CATEGORY_CODE = GEN (“General”)
The selection from which will directly or indirectly fill-in the following displayed fields: Infr Category, Infr
Code, Legal Ref, Legal Src. The Infraction Status will default to OPEN.
- Infr Status combobox should not include a NULL value for possible selection.
- Default to “General” on combobox
- Any observation detail entered requires an answer to Observed Value on the Observation Outcomes.
- Elipses button will not be enabled for any detail item-attribute combination that is not Observable or for a
row that does not yet have a checkmark in either box.

Programming Notes:
- When the user selects “No Change Observed” or “Not Inspected” then BF_LAST_UNR_DTTM
(={system datetime}), BF_LAST_UNR_TASK_ID (={current work order ID}) on the DOB_INFRACTION
table are updated accordingly. The view for these fields is refreshed on this screen.
- If the status is “Resolved” or if BF_ORIG_TASK_ID = {current work order ID} then disable “No
Change Observed” and “Not Inspected” menu items.Also BF_RSLVD_DTTM (={system datetime}),
BF_RSLVD_TASK_ID (={current work order ID}) should be updated
- Infraction Status combobox should not include a NULL value for possible selection.
- If added from Task Outcomes, Observation Outcomes then the Infraction should be linked to the
respective object (i.e. either Task Result or Observation Detail).
-When the Infraction Status (of the underlying record) is “Unresolved” and the
BF_LAST_UNR_TASK_ID is not the same as the current TASK.TASK_ID then allow “No Change
Observed” and “Not Inspected”.
-When the Infraction Status (of the underlying record) is “Resolved” then disallow “No Change
Observed” and “Not Inspected”.
-if the user changes the status from “Unresolved” to “Resolved” and then decides to reverse that then the
Inspectorial Action to follow is for “Reinstated” Infractions.
General note applicable to overall design:
- On any “Add…” popup or stand-alone screen, the user selection of the “Back” menu item without first
selecting “Save” will result in no record being entered into the database, unless otherwise stated.

Dt, Work Order ID once the record is saved. Then enter the Person ID of the current user, the system datetime,

- For View menu action from the Collected Docs view, allow them to change the type only if the Work Order ID
(DOB_RECEIVED_DOC.TASK_ID) matches the current Task ID.
