Dear prospective parent, Thank you for considering KENSRI School for your child. Our principle of first-come-first-serve makes sure that parents who are keen on partnering KENSRI School are accorded priority. We are happy that a lot of our parents are salaried employees or people who budget their resources to send their children to KENSRI School. This is the same with parents who are well to do and still want to maintain the values of inclusiveness for their children. All parents are treated equally regardless of their social, financial or educational status. They have learnt to respect these principles and have stood with us to protect the school. We thank them for their support. The only advantage the present parents enjoy is the priority of admission for registering the siblings of our present students. At KENSRI Students from Kindergarten to Class II have no interviews or entrance test. Students from class III onwards write an entrance test as per the CBSE syllabus, where they will be assessed in Science, Social Science, English, Hindi, Math, Finearts (Bharatnatyam/Percussion/Visual Art/Carnatic Music/Drama & Theatre/Media Arts) and Sports (Volleyball / Basketball / Cricket / Soccer/ Yoga / Athletics). KENSRI Schools Central Board of Secondary Education The school is primarily affiliated to the CBSE. KENSRI School CBSE system prepares the students best for competitive examinations as the questions are based on reasoning and not merely on rote learning. Not only is the syllabus broader based and student friendly, it is conducted in continuous and comprehensive manner. Every unit is allotted a certain number of periods and the weight age of marks will carry in the examination. Pre-Primary or Fun Expression Phase (a) Montessori System: Montessori System is for training children in academic studies, with the help of educational materials. It is a method of observing and supporting the natural development of children. KENSRI School Educational practice helps children develop habits, creativity, problem solving, social and time-management skills. (b) Kinder Garten system: Children come happily to school to have fun-fun and more fun. Everything that is taught must be fun so that they cannot wait to run to their mother's or grandparents' arms to tell them all about their day. The system is formal like the regular classroom programs in later classes. At KENSRI School we have also incorporated Mont materials. Star Performers Program KENSRI School's signature "STAR Performers" program is meant to make future stars in any subject, sports or art. This development of excellence is not about depending on luck but build stars strategically, deliberately and intensely. It requires a lot of humility and commitment from the student first, parents and coaches. All working in harmony towards a single pursuit of one's potential. All this must be developed with good fundamentals starting with daily habits. KENSRI subscribes to the opinion that compromising education compromises development in any aspect towards stardom even in sport and art. Schooling and academic pursuit provides ability to think, strategize, social development, and discipline. Lot of parents are cynical about education in schools in India but at KENSRI we have developed the curriculum towards true education of values, independent thinking and recognizing one's potential. Star performers program is structured for weekly monitoring. It is important to make the children and teachers/coaches/trainers provide weekly progress of improvements and help the child reach his/her goals. Senior Secondary under CBSE fulfils the aspiration of every student for higher education by extending itself to pre-university education under the CBSE strain. Students getting 80% and above in their 10th CBSE Board examination and who qualify in our written test are eligible for admission. It offers combinations for both science and commerce. STAND UP for gifted children Special talent and Needs Development. The program will provide an opportunity for students with special talent to excel and for students with learning challenges to progress at their own pace. Thus the individuals' talents are nurtured deliberately to progress both vocationally and academically.
