About: There are two different stories about how I became a monster. Both of them are true. I once was very beautiful , and I lived in a place where it was dark all the time. I asked Athena if I could see the sun. She thought I was ungrateful when she allowed me to see it, and this angered her. Then, Athena finds out that Poseidon thinks that I am attractive. She becomes so furious that she turns my hair into snakes. Now, when anyone gazes into my eyes, I turn them to stone.
