Conductometric titrations of chlorhexidine and proguanil are reported. The procedure is based on the copper&bi&guanide reaction which gi(es a pin) solid. *tudies at se(eral p+ (alues, and presence of ,+% and ethanol are carried out. % ml of -.' M ,+%, .ml of -.-$ M ,a/+ diluted to 0- m1 with $23 ethanol are added to 2ml of biguenide a4ueous solution and titrated awith cooper acetate. Concentrations of Chlorhexidine in 2..x$- 52 & %.6x$-56 M range are determined. areignspecies presence is studied too.

7iguanides are found in se(eral pharmaceutical formulations and industrial samples.
