B Because the reader is able to see what Gabriel is thinking without being told ., Gabriel thought. The other choices are not even related to the type of third-person used. 2. It can be seen that the final thought sums up all of Gabriels thought throughout the night. 3. E Because this is the end to a story, it is impossible for the passage to use foreshadowing.
