CLASS REQUIREMENTS

1. Be punctual and attend the classes regularly. Missing even a single class means losing a vital link in subject being taught. 2. 3. Plan to participate actively in class and group discussions. There are two monthly tests and one mid-semester test scheduled (see academic schedule). Each will be a combination of essays, short cases, and opinion questions. Knowledge of the subject matter must be demonstrated in examination responses. 4. 5. No extra chance will be given for missing any tests. No extra credit assignment will be accepted if you have missed on any of the scheduled course work. 6. 7. Dates for submission of assignments and presentations once notified will not be changed. It is your responsibility for reading and understanding the contents of articles/papers referred. If you have questions, ask in the class. 8. Abstaining from the class or coming without preparation for class discussions on scheduled additional readings would result in award of grade of F. 9. No assignment will be accepted unless all sheets have your name and the assignment number in the upper, right corner, and unless they are stapled together at the upper, left corner. 10. No assignment will be accepted unless it happens in an Elegant Design No. 1104 type folder. 11. The assignment will be graded on the basis of the works intellectual coherence, and the quality of the submitted material. 12. References are an integral part of written assignments. Reference both quoted material and ideas. If in doubt, use a footnote. Failure to adequately reference will result in a lower grade. You will receive a grade of F on the paper if referencing problems persist. If there is blatant plagiarism, the course grade is an F. 13. Do not wait until the last minute to complete the assignments. It is your responsibility to turn assignments in a timely manner. 14. The class will be divided into five teams with approximately 7-8 students in each. The case presentation should last a maximum of 30 minutes with marks lost for exceeding the time constraint. Each student is expected to contribute equally to the presentation. The prepared

(enjoy.mgmt@gmail.com) by the class representative. The marks for this element are based both on the presentation and the submitted material. 15. 16. Internal assessment will be given strictly on the basis of your performance. Satisfactory completion of the course requires regular attendance, assignment submission, taking of tests, and other graded exercises as determined by your instructor. Expect a grade of F if you are not willing to follow the course work. 17. All students are expected to be academically honest. Every effort will be made by your instructor and this department to discourage cheating. Awareness of academic dishonesty by a classmate is considered to be the equivalent of cheating unless it is reported. 18. If you sit in the back of the classroom as a rule, expect to be called on first.
