Size 10 crochet cotton 450 yds.

BASIC STITCHES: Ch, sl st, sc,
hdc, dc, tr.
SPECIAL STITCH: For picot, ch
2, sl st in top of last st made.
NOTE: Hold two strands of cro-
chet cotton together throughout.
First Jar Topper
Rnd 1: With white, ch 4, 9 dc in
fourth ch from hook, join with sl st
in top of ch-3. (10 dc made)
Rnd 2: For points, (*ch 5, sl st in
second ch from hook, sc in next
ch, hdc in next ch, dc in last ch,
skip next st on rnd 1*, sl st in next
st) 4 times; repeat between **, join
with sl st in joining sl st of last rnd.
Fasten off. (5 points)
Rnd 3: Join white with sc in tip
of any point, ch 4, tr in next sl st
between points, ch 4, (sc in tip of
next point, ch 4, tr in next sl st be-
tween points, ch 4) around, join
with sl st in first sc. (10 ch sps)
Rnd 4: (Sl st, ch 3, 5 dc) in first
ch sp, 6 dc in each ch sp around,
join with sl st in top of ch-3. (60 dc)
Rnd 5: Working this rnd in back
lps only, ch 3, dc in each st
around, join.
Rnd 6: Ch 4 (counts as first dc
and ch sp), skip next st, (dc in next

Second Jar Topper
Rnds 1-2: Repeat same rnds of
First Jar Topper.
Rnd 3: With navy, repeat same
rnd of First Jar Topper.
Rnds 4-5: Repeat same rnds of
First Jar Topper. At end of last rnd,
fasten off.
Rnd 6: Join white with sl st in
first st, ch 4 (counts as first dc and
ch sp), skip next st, (dc in next st,
ch 1, skip next st) around, join with
sl st in third ch of ch-4. Fasten off.
Rnd 7: Join red with sc in first
ch sp, (ch 4, sc in next ch sp)
around; to join, ch 2, hdc in first
sc (counts as a ch sp).
Rnds 8-9: Repeat same rnds of
First Jar Topper. At end of last rnd,
fasten off.
Rnd 10: Join white with sl st in
first ch sp, (ch 3, 2 dc, picot, 3 dc)
in first ch sp, (3 dc, picot, 3 dc) in
each ch sp around, join with sl st in
top of ch-3. Fasten off.

first st, ch 4 (counts as first dc and
ch sp), skip next st, (dc in next st,
ch 1, skip next st) around, join with
sl st in third ch of ch-4. Fasten off.
Rnd 7: With one strand each red
and white held together, join with
sc in first ch sp, (ch 4, sc in next
ch sp) around; to join, ch 2, hdc
in first sc (counts as a ch sp).
Rnds 8-9: Repeat same rnds of

Rnd 10: Join white with sl st in
