Sunday Services
What if you knew that by taking ten steps across a room and saying hello to another person, you could impact his or her eternity? It has nothing to do with methods and everything to do with taking a genuine interest in another human being. Coming March 9th, I will offer a study entitled, Just Walk Across the Room. I offer this because I recently had a sermon series on the Great Commission and some of you said, I understand I should GO, but how do I go about doing this? It is for you, we offer this elective. I hope it helps equip you for changing lives. Sign up today in the lobby.

Dear Friends, Many thanks for your prayers, cards, and the countless good thoughts you have had for us in the past few months. It has been a difficult time, but you have helped to carry the load and given us encouragement. Please pray for mom and dad, for their travel to Georgia, and to help to get me settled again. The road is not over for me, but your prayers will continue to strengthen all of us. May God continue to bless you for your kindness and faithfulness. Philipppians 1:3-6 ~ Stephanie Tingler A really big thank you to whoever was the sender of the beautiful bouquet of flowers. All of us were surprised they were very pretty. I have enjoyed them all this week but finally had to give them up. So again many thanks. In Christian Love ~ Myrtle Campbell

Global Evangelism
We are constant to our founding call to worldwide evangelism, proclaiming to all that Jesus Christ is the Savior, Healer, and SoonComing King (Acts 20:27).

We do not want you to "get religion" here at Fifth Avenue Church of Christ in Lancaster. We are all about teaching you that Jesus seeks a daily relationship with Him through a life of obedience. In other words, we want to see the things you are taught actually change your lifestyle & your daily decisions.
Social Conscience
We place high value on the sanctity of human life, of Biblical marriage and morality, and we welcome ethnic diversity (Isaiah 56:7; Philippians 2:15-16).

What Can I Say to You, God? Verses from the Psalms on Prayer - By Elspeth Ccampbell Murphy is an early reader or Mommy and Me book. In this book, David and the child talk to God about their problems and God answers through the inspiration of the Psalms. The Sound of Sleigh Bells by New York Times BestSelling Author Cindy Woodsmall tells a captivating story of two guarded hearts, the letters that unlock their secrets, and the surprise of healing grace. Beth Hertzler works alongside her beloved Aunt Lizzy in their store and is a contact between Amish craftsmen and English retailers. Remose and loneliness echo in her heart, and she wears dark dresses to indicate her mourning of her fianc. She discovers a large, intricately carved scene of Amish children in an English store, and she wants to help the unknown artist find homes for his work. Lizzy sees the changes in her niece when Beth shows her the woodworking, and after meeting Jonah, the artist, she is determined that Beth come to know this man whose hands create healing art. But its not that simple Beth has cut herself off from any possibility of romance. Will Lizzys elaborate plan to reintroduce her niece to love work? Will Jonah be able to offer Beth new hope and a second chance at real love or just more heartbreak? Stop by the church libraries and check out a good book. If you have any questions about the libraries, contact Delores Payne.
