CAp Pharmaceuticals Style Guide

Style Guide: Chris, Angelina and Paulette Pharmaceuticals This style guide is produced to outline our style decisions on how CAp Pharmaceuticals would like to be perceived as a business. Our corporate style guide should be used as a tool to maintain a consistent image, and consulted if any documents are changed. The style guide is intended for all stationary, publications both printed and digital, websites, promotional material, and any other visual material representing CAp Pharm. Use MLA style as the basis and reference point for all documents. 1.0 Company Name 1. Only during official business will we say the entire name Chris, Angelina and Paulette Pharmaceuticals. Other times CAp Pharmaceuticals or CAp Pharm shall be used, with no period after "Pharm". 2. The company name is to be spelled "CAp Pharmaceuticals" with the capitalization to be exactly that. 3. When referring to the company, the words "our" "we" and "us" are not only correct but highly encouraged, to give a personal feel to the company 2.0 Official Documents 1. The first time when referring to the company use the entire name Chris, Angelina and Paulette Pharmaceuticals. After that, use CAp Pharmaceuticals or CAp Pharm, never both. It may bring confusion to the document. 2. Do not use and/or, but one ( usually and). 3. Words like email and online should be kept as one. 4. Calibri is the chosen font for all business documents. Other options such as Helvetica, Times New Roman, Georgia, and Verdana can be used in some circumstances. Use 18pt for headers and 12pt for rest of document. 5. Use the form below to create all business letterheads. Name Title Web address (optional) Contact information 6. No underlines is to be used in any document. If emphasis is needed use bold. 7. Longer words must be abbreviated and defined uniquely within the company's documentation and must be redefined for every reuse in separate documents.

8. Page margins for official documents should be 2.54 cm from top, bottom, left and right edges of each document 9. Forbidden words in all official documents are not limited to but include "drug"(replace with medication), "pill"(replace with capsule), "dealer"(replace with manufacturer, distributor, or producer). 10. When discussing all products produced within the company, refer to those still under testing as "projects", those under heavy study as "trials", and those released to the public for sale and distribution as "products". 11. When creating list and bullets use capitalization, commas, periods, and on the occasion colons. No other punctuation is needed. 12. When using color, only use the colors black and red as they match the company's logo and brand. 3.0 Employees 1. All employees, other than managers and executive officers, are to be called stakeholders when referenced within or outside the company. 2. Whenever referencing another member in the company always address both man and female by their first and last names while disregarding surnames. 3. Whenever referring to stakeholders with less than six months in the company, in the body of a text make sure to refer them by employee number only and not by name. 4.0 Visual Presentation Format 1. Whenever there is a text filled presentation used in the company such as powerpoint or prezi, use all capital letters, including the name of the company.
