1 Nowadays, teachers do not used IT in their classes because classrooms in public schools do not have the resources, but in my opinion all teachers have to be prepare to almost everything in a school; although there are a lot methods that can be use in order to teach English and mix up technology and english in a classes. Students are becoming good with technology and this can be a disadvange to the teacher who does not know how to use tech devices because they do not know how to deal with technology; students enjoy watching videos or looking for pictures, and why not do this while they are studying English and get to know more about the language in funny and modern way, sometimes students are more interested to learn english when the teacher gives classes by showing pictures and watching a videos or even movies. What I want to tell is that our classes become insteresting if we make a blend of technology and methodogy, together they are a powerful tool for a teacher in the classroom. In order to understand better this topic, these questions will help me to explain you what I am talking about. How am I going to use the principle of good teaching practice? How do I develop an effective class using the right methodology and approch? Do I use IT in classroom? What is e-learning and blended learning?

How am I going to use the principle of good teaching practice? PRINCIPLE DESCRIPTION EXPLANATION
This is how I am going to use it

Good practice Frequent student-faculty encourages contact in and out of class interaction between is a most important factor students and in student motivation and faculty. involvement. Faculty concern helps students get through rough time and keep on working.

Teacher and student must be in touch, in and out of the classroom because is an essential part of a good practice if the teacher show coldness the students will lost the intrinsic motivation that they have in the

2 classroom. Faculty concern is important because helps students not to give up on difficult tasks. Good learning in students is total different when students share their ideas with the rest of the class. When students make individual tasks: for example a solo race makes a horrible environment among students, because they get mad each other and anybody wants to give an opinion and even share an idea. Most of students feel motivated by teachers activities; active learning techniques are those that develop a good perform of students and a better understading of a language, they are able to speak, instead of memorize large dialogs. Whithin the lesson plans, I must include pacing because time is how I am going to develop each stragery or technique which helps to develop a class. In addition, time always keeps your students ready for what is next. A good feedback is good for students because give them a strong capacity to remember what they know already or sometimes help them to recognise what are the competences they have. High expectations for those people who do not believe in themselves or for those

Good practice encourages interaction and collaboration between students.

Learning is enhanced when it is more like a team effort than a solo race. Good learning, like good work, is collaborative and social, not competitive and isolated.

Good practice uses Learining is not a active learning spectator sport, students techniques. do not learn much just sitting in classes listening to teachers, memorizing prepackaged assignments and spitting out answers.

Good practice Time plus energy equals emphasizes time on learning. learning to use task. ones time well is critical for students and professionals alike.

Good practice gives Knowing what you know prompt feedback. and dont know focuses your learning. In getting started, students need help in assessing their existing knowledge and competence. Good practice Expect more and you will communicates high get it. High expecatations expectations. are important for

3 everyone for the poorly prepared, for those unwilling to exert themselves, and for the bright and well motivated. Good practice respects diversity--talents, experience, and ways of learning. (Chickering, s.f.) Many roads lead to learning. Different students bring different talents and styles to college. Brilliant student in a seminar might be all thumbs in a lab or studio; students rich in hands-on experience may not do so well with theory. (Chickering, s.f.) who thinks that they will not get it. High expentations are important because students can see how teachers care that they understand a lesson. And these ones are for everyone. There are different types of learning and a teacher must respect all this diversity, and also discover such talent in the group of students, there are techniques that help teachers identify the talent of a student, and make easier learning to them.

How do I develop an effective class using the right methodology and approch? Teachers can choose to teach differently from the way they were taught. There are able to see why they are attracted to certain methods and repelled by others. (Larsen-Freeman, 2000). It is not a mandatory that teachers nowadays teach in the same way they were taught like this woman says, there are many techniques and principles that she gives in order to improve the way how students must learn in classrooms. These are some of the approaches, the methodology, methods, strategies and techniques that I am going to use in my teaching practice: The communicative approach (ESL) The communicative approach is based on the idea that learning language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. When learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language acquisition will be used, and this will allow them to learn to use the language. (BBC, 2014) Until now, one of the best approaches is the communicative approach because helps students to acquire the language by

4 interacting each other through differents activities that brings easily language acquisition; They learn how to use it in real life contexts and solving problems that face up everyday. When students are exposed to the language, acquire the language is easier than anything else; that is why is so important that we as a teachers bring up an English environment in classrooms activities. The comprehension approach Comprehension approach refers to a method of learning a new language through the process of understanding the meaning of words and expressions in the language as opposed to any other form of language learning. Other methods that may be used as part of the progression of language learning include the process of learning the letters, symbols and other representations of the language first before actually understanding the meaning of the words. The difference between the compression approach and the other more scientific approach to learning a new language lies in the fact that the comprehension approach is simply another dimension toward learning a new language. (wiseGEEK, 2014) well, each method is based on different appoaches, this belongs to the TPR because is how students are going to develop their listening skill. The natural approach The term natural approach was first used in the nineteenth century to describe teaching methods, such as the direct method, that attempted to mirror the processes of learning a first language. (Thornbury, 2013) I am going to make use of the natural approach because direct method is one of the method that I will use in my teaching practice. Methodology A set or system of methods, principles, and rules for regulating a given discipline, as in the arts or sciences. (Dictionary, 2014) Now in order to achieve the methodology I need to compille a series of methods, in other words are

5 those that build up the methodology, some of the methods that I expect to use are:

The Direct Method The direct method has one basic rule: no translation is allowed (LarsenFreeman, 2000). The direct method is a very important method and one the rules is that no translation is allowed, so I prefer to use it because has good principles and also if I want that my students acquire the language through activities that allow to them to learn English under the communicative approach, what I must use is this because give the key to teach and bring to students the facility to learn other language. Total Phisical Response It is called this because of the importance it gives to listening comprehesion. (Larsen-Freeman, 2000) So, If the importance of this method is merely the listening comprehension, and other points, it will be good to have this method within my teaching practice because it guarantees me a total suceess in listening and speaking skill that need to be develop in students nowadays. Communicative Language Teaching It became clear that communication required that students perform certain functions as well, such as promising, inviting, and declining inivtations within a social context. (Larsen-Freeman, 2000) CLT is a great method which cannot miss in this methodology, and it is because CLT is focused on communicative approach that help students understand the language from a different point of view. Rote learning is out this, but it is in meaningful learning, students comprehen and acquire the language by interacting, conveying, and sharing ideas each others in and out of the classrooms. 6 Cooperrative or collaborative learining essentially involves students learning each other in groups. In the language teaching field, some of the differences among students have been attributes to students having different learning or cognitive styles. (Larsen-Freeman, 2000) I would like to use this because teachers can figure out the different kinds of students learning that they have in their classroom and also to easily adapt a lesson plan for everybody learning styles. In addition, taking into account that cooperative or collaborative learning is one of the most important, because of round tables and groupworks that we as teachers are going to make in our lessons. cooperative learning, and multiple Problem solving intelligences Writing Verbal linguistic Body-Kinesthetic intelligence, 2014) (Larsen-Freeman, 2000) Do I use IT in classroom? Instructional Technology is the theory and practice of design, development, utilization, management and evaluation of processes and resources for learning. Instructional Design seeks to teach how to plan, develop, evaluate and manage the instructional process effectively to ensure improved performance by learners. (college of education, 2014) Well, I would like to include IT in my teaching designing because nowadays students enjoy doing tasks on internet, but the most important how must I use it? Most of students are digital natives and these are updating new things to learn, VLE platforms are created in order to share ideas, make comments of certain topic, and so on. Students are going to be evaluated by using technology, they can comment and make forums in VLE platforms and then in the class I can discuss the topic with them. Moreover, I must focus students attention on what they are going to do on the platforms. (multiple

What is e-learning and blended learning? E-learning is commonly referred to the intentional use of networked information and communication technology in teaching and learning. A number of other terms are also used to describe this mode of teaching and learning. They include online learning, virtual learning, distributed learning, network and web-based learning. (Som Naidu, 2006) Blended learning is a term increasingly used to describe the way elearning is being combined with traditional classroom methods and

independent study to create a new, hybrid teaching methodology. It represents a much greater change in basic technique than simply adding computers to classrooms; it represents, in many cases, a fundamental change in the way teachers and students approach the learning experience. (Mindflash, 2014) Probably, it is a little hard to understand what e-learning is, because is almost the same with blended learning, but what I belive is that blended learning and e-learning are probably the same ones because e-learning is as the approach of blended learning, by mixing up tradicional classroom methods with the new age: Computers or tech devices, and these technology staffs no only can be objects in the classroom, it must be utilizated by teachers and students using a good methodology, techniques and strategies, that in somehow can change the way how students are been taught all last years.
