1.- PERSONAL PRONOUNS: nicamente hacen funcin de sujeto. She drinks tea 2.- OBJECT PRONOUNS: - Reciben la accin del verbo y van detrs del verbo: My mother loves us ( mi madre nos quiere) - Pueden ir tambin despus de preposiciones. My parents live with her ( mis padres viven con ella) 3.- POSSESSIVE DETERMINERS: Indican posesin y preceden al sustantivo. No tienen nmero (el plural es igual) y la nica diferencia de gnero se da en his / her. That is our neighbour ( ese es nuestro vecino) 4.- POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS.- Sustituye al nombre para evitar repeticin. Sintcticamente pueden tener distintas funciones: - Her boyfriend is nice; yours is very unfriendly ( su novio es majo; el tuyo es antiptico) - Martha adores her boyfriend and Roxana adores hers ( Marta adoro a su novio y R. al suyo) - You work hard with your partner and I work with mine ( t trabajas duro con tu socio y yo con el mo) 5.- REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS: El sujeto realiza una accin que recae sobre si mismo. En ingls se emplea el reflexivo slo en aquellos casos donde es reflexivo, salvo alguna rara excepcin. En ingls no existen los verbos pronominales como irse, disculparse, lamentarse, sentirse , etc.
