3. Report Details: HEADING 1 Explain under following Heads: Assumptions. Basic Design Procedure. (Theoretical Background). Design Calculation. Description of drive train adopted. Pictorial representation also to be included. Resources Required. Software Output (CAD/CAE Packages) along with Pictorial representation. Method of Implementation. USP.

(Teams are open to decide the heads. However, the design report should include pictorial representation, design calculations and CAD/CAE output).

GUIDELINES:
1. Design Report should not exceed mentioned no. of pages. In case of non-compliance, points may be deducted from the total score. 2. Mail the file in MS WORD or PDF format to designreports@saenis.org with the subject DESIGN REPORT TEAM NAME before the last date of submission as per schedule. 3. Since the marking of design report will be done on the basis of following criteria, teams should produce the report accordingly. 1. Vehicle Design & USP 2. CAD & Actual View Pictorial Representation 3. Systems Description 4. Ergonomics & Safety 5. Innovations 6. Methodology adopted & Calculations. 4. This is to note that the design report will be referred by the judges during the Design Event, Marketing Presentation and Tech Okay events during EFFICYCLE 2011 main event. Teams should keep a hard copy of the report along with the vehicle.
