Introduction to COGATAA It is a Belief system of principles, spirituality, acceptance, tolerance, social awareness, and helpfulness.

The core belief system of this church states that every living creature commands respect. We do not sit in judgment of our fellow man, but we should attempt to lend a helping hand. For years I believed that I should treat others as I would treat myself. This is not the case. I contend that we should all strive to treat others better than we would treat ourselves. Only then can we define the meaning of selfless giving. All are welcome to visit and congregate with our fellowship. We would love to have all members of any religion become members of our congregation. II. As a member of the Church of God and the Archangels we will maintain a decent and respectable set of principles to live by. These are the principles to follow as a member of The Church of God and Archangels 1. We shall not take any life unless threatened with deadly force and have no other choice, but to react with the same amount of force in order to stop the illegal action against us or a third party, wherein we or the third party would have died if we had not taken this action. This principle allows for the use of deadly force on animals and beasts to feed our families and nurture the animal population. 2. We shall not steal, covet, or envy the life, possessions, employment, relationship, or wealth of anyone else. 3. We shall welcome all who wish to enter into the Church of God and the Archangels with open arms. 4. We shall not submit to the seven deadly sins which are:

5. Lust to have an intense desire or need: But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Matthew 5:28). 6. Gluttony excess in eating and drinking: for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags (Proverbs 23:21). 7. Greed - excessive or reprehensible acquisitiveness: Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more (Ephesians 4:19).

II. As a member of the Church of God and the Archangels we will maintain a decent and respectable set of principles to live by.

8. Laziness disinclined to activity or exertion: not energetic or vigorous: The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway (Proverbs 15:19). 9. Wrath strong vengeful anger or indignation: A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1) 10. Envy painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage: Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation (1 Peter 2:1-2).
11. Pride - quality or state of being proud inordinate self esteem: Pride goes before

destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18).

III. Spirituality

As a member of The Church of God and the Archangels it is your constant mission to search for spirituality. Whether you find it in true love, a newborn, a rainbow, whatever it may be. You should always be searching for spirituality. You may even find what you are searching for in other members of the congregation. You may even find what you are searching for in your own religion, or in your churches members. It is the belief of the Church of God and the Archangels your spirituality is something that you must discover for yourself. It is not something that can be forced or coerced out of a person. You must know it in your heart of hearts, only then will you know it is true spirituality. As a member of this congregation we will never, ever, try to force or push anyone into any belief, religion, denomination, church, or system under any circumstances, whatsoever. The Church of God and the Archangels was founded as a church with a system set in place that will accept anyone into the congregation. Each person must find his or her own spirituality and is not for any of us to decide.

As a member of the Church of God and the Archangels we must accept everyone for who they are regardless of race, religion, color, age, disabilities, habits, and beliefs. We provide a guide for each member to attempt to live by, and we would hope that each member of this church attempts to live by the standard set herein. Acceptance is easy, being prejudice and discriminating takes a lot more work. The Church of God and the Archangels believes that you should be who you really are. You do not have to pretend to be someone or something you are not. Do not put on airs on our account. Please be and accept. V. Tolerance There are many times when I myself would have liked to have given in to my primal instincts, but you must always remember that it is always more difficult to walk away or turn the other cheek then to submit. I will go even one step further and say it is more difficult to tolerate someones bad behavior and even more difficult still to counsel that same person. It can be done and as a member of the Church of God and the Archangels you are expected to show more tolerance than the average citizen.

Social Awareness As a member of the Church of God and the Archangels you must stay in touch with the issues going on around you. You never know if something may be happening to one of our church members. Keep your eyes open, and listen for new items. The world is changing around us and there are new and different problems arising every day. We are a society of Wi-Fi wielding app users and we need to keep our finger on the pulse of the world. If you see something that you think the church needs to know then please bring it to Reverend Daves attention.

V. Helpfulness It has been my experience that when people fail there is always someone there to laugh at them or to tell them those ever so hated words, I told you so. As a member of the Church of God and the Archangels one of your jobs is going to be to provide helpfulness to other members. We are not here to laugh at them, or make fun of them. It is our responsibility to help lift up other members and believe in them. It is our job to fully support our congregation. It is the belief of the Church of God and the Archangels that if we must be helpful and not hurtful, because there is enough hatred in the world already.

FOUNDING OF THE CHURCH OF GOD AND THE ARCHANGELS

The actual formation of the church didnt occur until February 27th, 2014 by Reverend David Castillo. His ordination papers are a little confusing because the church maintaining his ordination records had a mishap and his ordination was lost. We have attached a copy of an original receipt of Reverend Daves ordination. The new certificate states that his ordination is February 27th, 2014. However, the receipt will show a date of 1999 as Reverend Daves original date of ordination. In the many years since David became an ordained minister he has helped many people along the way. David felt that he had to pay his dues in society before bringing his services to the masses. So many people have come and gone and have received help, aid, counseling, a place to stay while they got back on their feet, from Reverend David and his family. Although, David never did it for recognition, but he felt that it was important to build this kind of a history to prepare him for what may come next. David waited fifteen years to bring his church to the forefront of the masses and now he has created the Church of God and the Archangels. Although there is no building or walls yet, Reverend Dave would like you to know that he is brining you the Church of God and the Archangels through streaming media, YouTube, online, and through your smart-phones. In the beginning stages of the formation of the church of God and the Archangels we will begin with the following format when possible. There may be days when some elements are missing, but we will be sure to make up for them in other ways.

Here is the basic structure of the Church of God and the Archangels masses and online services. This first section will be addressed to the members of our congregation. Please be aware that we have all of the services we have available online at: http://churchofgodandthearchangels.weebly.com/ We offer pre-recorded sermons which are available free to all members. The following is how we would like to raise the funds for our building. Please make offerings if you are able. We offer special topic request video sermons for a small offering of $25.00 for 5 to 7 minute sermon. We offer prayers for small offerings starting at $1.00 for one prayer. We offer confession for $5.00 We offer spiritual counseling for $5.00 We offer other ministers and clergy a 10 to 15 minute spot on our channel for $25.00 per upload to our channel. Please consider all monies offerings to buy our building or build our church. At this moment we are not offering Baptisms, or Wedding, but hopefully this will change very soon. We are confident that we will eventually be able to purchase a building to serve the congregation.
