and new....just like our new look! As we continue to refresh
our look and fine-tune our delivery of the connection
newsletter, we appreciate your patience during the transition.

alone or be a fun companion to your album!
Simply use your existing album design from a square, 8x10 or 8x12 aspect
ratio to create the Companion Mini so no need to create a new layout.

12 years ago, H&H released ARCS eZevent. Over the following years, this package ordering
software for school and sports continued to be developed into the deep and sophisticated
image database and workflow workhorse that has served thousands of studios and schools

from the ground up, using the latest software technologies and architecture to support the
next generation of volume school and sports photography needs.
hhschools is the latest volume photography software platform. This FREE Mac and PC
compatible software is for school, sports and volume events photography, and leverages
the familiar and proven interfaces of eZsports and eZevent.
eZevent will be removed from our web site in the coming weeks. We intend to continue to
support orders coming from eZevent for the coming months, but no further development
will be done to eZevent and we will phase this software out by the end of 2014.

How to Map Fields for RTD Labels
You now have the ability to customize what information is printed on your Ready to
Deliver Labels using hhschools software. When you check the option to use RTD Labels
you can now customize the 7 text lines you want to appear on the label by mapping to

Sage Tweed Art Print
Did you know you can find instructions for lighting, posing, props, marketing, etc. for all
of our portrait programs on our website?
As an example, our newest spring portrait program, Sage Tweed, offers many new prod-
ucts. One popular new look is the Sage Tweed Art Print.
When creating this product, all three images on the template must be shot as
3/4 length with enough room for cropping adjustments. If you shoot too close up, then
the images will not display like the sample shown.

H&H Automated Composites
The Aspirin for Composite Headaches!

Class composites for elementary schools have always been painful to
produce - and we have to produce a lot of them! The process to order,
proof, correct, re-proof, re-order corrected versions and deliver them has
not only been time consuming, but expensive when you factor in set-up
and correction charges.
We have found the aspirin for
our composite headaches by
using Auto Composites from
H&H Color Lab. Their auto
composites allow us to meet
the needs of 95% of class
composites that we produce
for our school customers.
The H&H automated composites give us lots of options. The auto composite can
accommodate six to fifty subjects. The title block can have up to five lines of data.
For these lines we like to use the school name, year, grade, principals name and the
teachers name. We can create a custom background for the composite with a school
logo if we need to, or choose a simple color background. We can also select from two
text colors. Auto composites even has a feature to easily add the names of not-pictured
students when requested to do so by the school.
Proofing is so easy. We generate images and a data report from H&Hs software.
The school marks up the corrections and returns the report to us. We then make all
the necessary corrections and order 1 composite for each class printed and send them
to the school for final review before ordering.
Auto composites have a 24 hour in-lab production time, so they come back to us
fast. They are available in both 6 X 8 and 8 X10 sizes and the prices are great -
$0.74 and $1.48 respectively.
WE LOVE AUTO COMPOSITES from H&H! We do some basic data management and in
return get a great looking product that is delivered fast and easily meets our schools
demands. On top of that, they are a great deal because there is NO SET-UP charges
and the prints are priced so reasonably.
