Understand the developmental process in which undergraduate students engage as they self-author and define themselves as adults. Understand the value of critical thinking skills in developing an internal sense of authority on which to base my future values and ethics. Understand the values of diversity, and exposure to other cultures, ethnicities, and groups in expanding my understanding peoples and a global society. Understand that discovering my authentic self is a process in which only I can engage in understanding self and self in relation to others. Understand the comparison of the University of the West as a regionally accreditation, not-for-profit university vs. a nationally accredited, for-profit vocational institute. Understood the University of the West in relation to the value of its liberal arts education and various student services. Understood the mission of University of the West in relation to its Buddhist ideals, and philosophy of whole person education. Comments
