The Enterprise Extraction Utility assists you in moving information from your Enterprise applications to other consolidation products. The utility takes the Enterprise application and extracts it to a format that is meant to be an initial step in creating a new consolidation application. The metadata, data mappings, logic and rules created by the utility may or may not be appropriate for your new consolidation implementation. It is therefore likely that manual modifications to the destination consolidation application will be required. Oracle highly recommends that you !erform the extraction process in a test environment prior to running it in production "arefully review the application after it is rebuilt in the new consolidation product to ensure that the application is set up as desired. If it is not designed as required, manual modification of the destination application will be required If the destination application is not set up correctly, data integrity may be impacted. It is the customer#s responsibility to review the new application and make any necessary modifications prior to running consolidations in production.
