THE PRICE FOR THE BLESSING (Luke 14:28)
“Which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit
down first and count the cost?”
How many times you prayed for something without
realizing how much, to the end, you have to pay for it? For
every success it is a price you have to pay. To be blessed it
means a hard work first. We have to care for everything we
receive from God. When God placed Adam and Eve in the
Garden of Eden they had to care for it. The Lord Jesus said:
“Which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit
down first and count the cost?” For example when God
blesses you, you don’t expect everyone around to rejoice.
Some will believe that this blessing came because of them.
And this is because they don’t want you to prosper more
than them. They might want to receive from God the same
thing, but they are not prepared to pay the price you paid.
James says: “For where envying and strife are, there is
confusion and every foul deed” (James 3:16). You
should not watch only after your enemies, you might be
betrayed even by your team players. The Lord Jesus sat at
the table with John who He loved very much, and also with
Judas the betrayer. One was so closed that he put his head
on the chest of Jesus and the other was so far from Him that
he betrayed Him with a kiss. We have to know who’s
sitting with us at the table. Still, as painful as it is to be
criticized by the ones you respect and trust, it is even worse
to turn away from God just to be accepted by men.
Regardless how good you feel to be acknowledged and
appreciated, it comes the time when you have to stop and
ask yourself: “How much I have to sacrifice in order to
be blessed?” Your answer will decide your destiny.

took place between September 4th and 7th, 2009 hosted by

churches in the area. This Convention is the largest annual
gathering or festivity outside of Romania. The main topic was:
“Stir up the gift of God, which is in you” (2Tim 1:6) Due to
the Grace of God, of the presence of the Holy Spirit, of His
Word and of the great music sang by the orchestra, bends, choir
and groups (especially young people from the West Coast), of
the fervent prayers with tears and of a great place with good
organization this Convention was considered superlative. The
Lord healed many sick people and baptized with the Holy
Spirit.
This Convention received letters of greetings from the
President of the Romanian Parliament, Mr. Mircea Geoana, the
Romanian Ambassador in USA, Adrian Vierita and the
representative Mircea Lubanovici.

We were motivated in giving by Cristian Ionescu,
Nicky Pop, Johnny Buia and Teodor Luca.
The following seminaries were presented on: Missions, Sunday
School, Moms, Pastors, Worship and Family.
Many young people participated at the Bible Contest and at the
Music Concert.
Credo-TV helped with the recording of the Convention and
with the broadcasting on the internet.
The Host Church put together “A Book of Remembrance” a
great documentation with 135 pages regarding churches,
conventions and missions. Among the 3,500 – 4,000
participants were ministers from Romania, Middle East,
India, Australia, New Zealand and other places.
Pastor Alin Bob said: “This is the 41st year of the
Romanian Pentecostal Conventions and we start a new era
of promises of God (Deut.2:7), of the Romanian Pentecostal
Community in the North American continent. Reaching this
age of maturity, the Romanian Convention should
experience a greater work of the Holy Spirit, a greater
brotherly fellowship, a solid teaching of the Holy
Scriptures, a great desire to fulfill the Great Commission, a
fiery desire for prayer and to stir up spiritual gifts for better
service of every believer as part of the Church, which is the
body of Christ”
The 2009 Convention started with the Anthems of USA and
Romania and ended Monday with a wonderful fellowship at
the picnic. In God’s will the 2010 Convention will be
hosted by Philadelphia Church in Atlanta, GA, Pastor

SHORT TERM MISSION (continuation)
Finally, another benefit of short-term mission trips is the
use your time in a spiritually constructive way. There is a
saying that idleness is the Devil’s playground. Sitting
around and doing nothing is a sure way to sooner or later
get your self into trouble. The preparation of a short-term
mission trip takes serious time. It requires that you prepare
yourself with the many things earlier mentioned.
Lamentations 3:27 says: “It is good for a man to bear the
yoke in his youth.” Although this verse can be applied in
different ways it generally means that young people should
have RESPONSIBILITIES. They should occupy their time
not with boredom, excessive sports, parties, bad movies and
bad friends, but with spiritually beneficial activities. One of
them is a SHORT-TERM MISSION trips. I’ve gone on
two, so far and they have both been worth every effort, cent,

NEGRESTI, VASLUI, ROMANIA The month of August
continues to be very busy in God’s ministry. We spent four
days ministering with young ladies from our Alleluia
Church: Timea, Julia, Crina and Lydia in Negresti,
Vaslui to the children of the street. I was very pleased with
their ministry; with so much love and joy they were
washing them, teaching them, singing with them, preparing
their food, serving them at the table and plying with them. I
was impressed for the good testimony they left behind.
They had no problem to obey the rules and they did it with
much joy as they understood their mission there.
Following I went to Constanta where I met a school team
with which we ministered together in Durres, Albania. I
was overwhelmingly blessed. I met missionaries who
minister in Albania for 14 years and they challenged me to
continue working for this mission. A family who is
ministering in Turkey for two years was also here. We
spoke together and I had the opportunity to better
understand the difficulties of their mission and ministry
within another nation, their life and many other things.
Our ministry was among the children of the street where we
organized a vacation camp just for them.
We taught them about the Lord Jesus, we played with them, we
made all kinds of crafts and we ended every day with a dinner
and prayer. We had good times with them and also we had
times of challenge when the enemy fought to discourage us. I
will end my ministry this year in Zalau and Satu Mare. On
September 14th I have to go back to school. I thank you all for
your financial support and for your words of encouragement.

the devil is trying hard to bring me down using some other

OZEORNOIE, UKRAINE
Greetings from Oziornoie! God bless you all!
I want to inform you about the Work of the Gospel among
Romanians from South Ukraine. In the will of God we spread
the Gospel to the unsaved people. This is our responsibility. On
August 12th we had a water baptism at the lake where 18 people
promised to serve the Lord for the rest of their life. We rejoiced
for this water baptism because many other unsaved people
heard the Word of God. Many were curious and they do come
to see it. Four people from Priozeornoie were also baptized in
water.
Every Sunday I preach the Gospel there. These four people
came to the Lord in the last months and now they were
baptized, and other young people surrendered to the Lord and
they are happy for the good news of salvation. They glorify the
Lord through songs of praise for the salvation they received
from Him. We bring thanks to the Lord Jesus and to the Holly
Spirit who work even today so wonderful. Halleluiah!
Our desire is to continue our ministry but we need your
financial support. We trust the Lord for His provision.
