It may contain a faculty member0s medical history, lea es and absences, merits and iolations, training and seminar attended, ran1 2 salary, etc. The (aculty0s )*+ (ile is considered as confidential and important because it contains the important information needed by the administration such as the faculty0s personal and employment records. The purpose of a faculty information system it to collect information related to the institution0s faculty members and organi.es it to produces an organi.ational 1no&ledge base. This information may be used to collect data, for e%ample if a faculty member is qualified to teach a certain course3sub-ect according to his course data, and it can also produce statistical data &hich is important monitor the schools status. This system is designed to manage and organi.e the faculty information easily, efficiently, lessen the chance of human error and eliminating the problems faced by the e%isting system by using a computer.
