Education: A way out of poverty Maricris Pascual Education is the biggest form of property. This is supported by Francis Bacon he stated that Knowledge is power. These sayings would suggest that education in all other things is the most superior thing that one must possess. Life in 21st century is an evolving steps of challenges. A world of sorrows and predicaments. A stage of facing the problem which we consider as the most alarming. A time for experiencing the disastrous effects of poverty. Effects which drives everyone to pursue hard in escaping from. A force that awakens them to move forward and create a better future, and come up with a decision of pursuing their education. Education which they consider as the key to success and a way out of poverty. Education is powerful. Indeed, it can uplift one from serenity and make one to enjoy a fruitful life. How? Education is the best thing to answer our question and problems. It gives us numerous benefits. Through education, we can find a job that could serve as with good salary. We can also have the knowledge to determine and distinguish what is right and what is wrong that could lead us into great decisions. Either we can think of alternatives that will uplift us from the so called poverty. The knowledge that we gain holds the heaviest part in our living. It can give us the wisdom to behold until our last days. It also gives us the intelligence to become competent and wise. Knowledge can even make us superiors. Trough this, we gain confidence and understand our worth. A taught of appreciating the god-given gifts to us. That the talents, skills and intelligence was given to us for a purpose. It leads everymans soul to move to the lighter side of life. A better state of living, a well standard job, and later to the top of success. Education is a source of prosperity and comfortability . If we treat it well, it can give us the best, but if we not, the worst we can experience the consequences. So together, let us eliminate poverty through education. Together, let us walk or run for our lives. Hand-in-hand let us study and create our own history of achievements. The essence of Christmas Maricris Pascual Big Christmas trees, beautiful lanterns and the differing color of Christmas lights awaken our souls every Christmas season. Little children always believe that Santa will come to give them the gifts they wish for. But is it what Christmas day wants us to experience? Is it why we are celebrating Christmas? Every little child dreams to meet Santa during this special holiday which would made him the happiest creature on earth. But how about Jesus? Isnt it that Christmas came into existence because of him? A day to remember, a day of his birth. Christmas makes us feel our whole being through the love and affection that our family members offer us. We give love and gifts, letters and forgiveness. Christmas day refreshes our minds and calms our hearts. The sweet cool breeze of the air seems to quench our longing for love, respect and companion. It is encouraging us to acknowledge the sufferings and sacrifices that our creator had undergone just to give us the peace of mind and a good future. Christmas day is a blessing which is for everyone. It is not just for the rich nor the poor and the beggars, but for everyone who put Christmas in their hearts. Christmas made us feel our worth in this world. And what was it? It is to give love not only on Christmas day but everyday. It is to kneel down and ask forgiveness to our greatest creator, and accept him to enter our hearts. It is not the material gifts that matters but the love that we can offer to our fellowmen holds the heaviest word we can ever give them. As I always say to myself, give love to the fullest and see a sincere heart that accepts.
