The people begin to doubt and argue about the signs of Christs crucifixion A great storm arises and there is a great earthquake: Many cities are destroyed For three days a thick darkness covers the land The Lord destroys Nephite cities and their inhabitants because of wickedness The Lord pleads with those who are left to repent and be healed The voice of Christ breaks the silence and he promises to gather his people The more righteous people are saved from destruction
