Learning standard: 1.1.3Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes, tongue twisters and sing songs paying attention to pronunciation, rhythm and intonation. 5.1.2Able to use pronouns correctly and appropriately: (a) personal pronouns (c) possessive pronouns Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to : (a)fill 5 blanks with suitable possessive pronouns. (b)listen and complete a song by choosing the 4 correct answers. Activity: 1. Teacher introduces a text which contains several possessive pronouns. 2. Teacher asks the pupils to underline the possessive pronouns. 3. Teacher gives some examples of possessive pronouns. 4. Pupils fill in 5 blanks with the suitable possessive pronouns. 5. Pupils listen to some words and choose the correct words in the song provided while they listen. 6. Teacher gives corrective feedback and summarizes the lesson.
