ANNOUNCEMENTS AND NOTES OF INTEREST

Sunday School Contacts - Contacts are very important to the life of our Sunday School. It has
been proven over and over that when people receive a personal word from someone they will respond. I
encourage every class to make a contact to every person on your class roll. Please do this during this month
and see what God will do. Be sure to assign someone to make those contacts in your class each week.

PRAYER REQUESTS: Pray for Karen Dodson and her family. Her mom, Glenda Wilson is
under Hospice Care and is not expected to live much longer. She is at Lourdes hospital. Delbert
Jenkins has been in the hospital and is doing better now. He will stay with his daughter, Debbie, for a
few days following his dismissal.

Church Web Site Links - You will find some new links on our web site and some have been
moved to a different page on the site. The Sunday School Communicator is now on the Teacher page, along
with several other links. Some new things will be added soon and some are under construction. Check us out
on the web.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCHEDULE

6:15 p.m. Adult Prayer Service (Membership Meetings scheduled on second Wednesday)
6:30 p.m. TeamKid Groups and Youth Bible Study Sessions
7:15 p.m. Sanctuary Choir Rehearsal in the Choir Room

Worship KidStyle
Worship KidStyle (10:45 service only) has begun for all children 4 yrs. old – 2 nd grade. Children will experience
many of the same elements of a worship service as their parents but in a way designed just for them. Children
will leave the sanctuary at the time noted in the bulletin and be picked up outside the Fellowship Hall after the
service.
Things You Need to Know

• Bro. Tom Hughes will be preaching during our 10:45 worship service today. He served for
eleven years at the First Baptist Church in Princeton. He has been heavily involved in
overseas mission trips to China and served as a Kentucky State Trooper before his call to
ministry. Pray for him as he comes to preach God’s Word in this service.

• The Sanctuary Choir has begun work on a Christmas Musical entitled, “Glorious
Impossible” created and arranged by Tom Fettke. This presentation will be on Sunday,
December 20, at 4:00 p.m. to allow those from our community to attend.

• We have two new pastors in town. The new pastor at the Methodist Church is Dan Leslie.
The new Catholic Church pastor is Tony Stevenson. Ronnie Peck went to a church in

 Tennessee and Mark Buckner went to a parish near Owensboro. Our community
Thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday, November 22, at the Calvert City United
Methodist Church at 6:00 p.m. with a fellowship after our worship. Dan Leslie will preach the
message. We will plan to have a community choir again this year. The rehearsal date will be
published soon.
