A church meeting has been called for Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 7:00pm to specifically present the edits to the MBC Constitution. All members are asked to be in attendance and please arrive promptly. ********** Place your S.H.A.R.E. order on or before Monday, March 17. The March menu is attached. S.H.A.R.E. distribution day is Saturday, March 29 from 6:308:45am in the Multipurpose Room. ************ The Daily Devotionals for March, April and May are available for purchase at the Information Center. ************ The Heart and Soul Ministry is seeking actors, singers, dancers and stagehands that would like to be a part of an upcoming life-changing ministry moment. Please contact Bro. Jeff Haskins or sign up at the Information Center. ************ Christian Education News: Sunday School is momentarily under reconstruction. In the interim, please be in prayer as we take efforts to revitalize this aspect of our Christian Education. Stay tuned! ************ Congratulations! All participants who completed the Teaching Todays Teachers to Teach course will receive their certificates during the 7:45 a.m. worship service on Sunday, March 16. ************ Easter Recitations/Expressions Easter will be celebrated Sunday, April 20, 2014. We are looking for at least seven to ten willing members, young and seasoned, to participate during the morning worship services. If you are interested in participating at either the 6:00 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. service, please see Minister Tonia Heggs and/or Sister Vicki Marshall no later than Sunday, March 16, 2014. Easter Recital rehearsals will begin on Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the Multipurpose Room at 6:30 p.m.

Attention All Youth!! Each Thursday evening is Youth Bible Study for all ages from 7-8pm in the sanctuary. ************ Willing Workers are Needed: Members are needed to serve on the Prayer Ministry. Dinwiddie Street. All Young men currently enrolled at APS schools in grades 6, 7, and 8 will get a full day of workshops, team building, and small group activities. The conference will help students recognize their strengths, and increase their leadership ability. Attached you will find the flyer and application. Teens Summer Camp Volunteer Program Now Taking Applications This opportunity is perfect for teens who want to further develop their leadership and communication skills and gain experience assisting with planning and leading activities for young children. Free Golf Program for Teens Arlington teens in 6th to 12th grade can learn life skills and leadership through the game of golf---for freethrough the First Tee program. Classes start March 20 and will be held on Thursdays from 5 7 p.m. at East Potomac Golf Course (972 Ohio Dr SW, Washington, DC). Equipment will be provided and there is free transportation from Thomas Jefferson and Lubber Run Centers (or we can meet you there). Only 13 participants in each session so sign up today. Arlington County Park Rangers are calling on volunteers to help clean Madison Manner, Glen Carlyn, Arlington Mill Community Center, Barcroft Park and Shirlington Park. We are working in conjunction with the Alice Ferguson Foundation. Get outdoors and give back to your community, perfect for individuals, families, service clubs and school groups. Volunteers should wear waterproof boots and bring work gloves. Bags will be provided. An adult must accompany children under 16 years of age. Bible Study Schedule at 7pm Each 1st Wednesday will be Corporate Prayer and Praise. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend. Every 2nd Wednesday of the month will be Pastors Bible Study which is open to everyone. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month will be Mens and Womens Bible Study. Each 4th Wednesday will be Young Adult Bible Study. The 5th Wednesday of each month will be Leadership Night. All leaders of MBC will meet with Pastor Hamlin. ************

Parents, while you are in service or performing ministry, please be mindful that you are responsible to know where your children are at all times. If you permit them to leave you for restroom breaks, etc., they must return to you at an appropriate time and not be left unsupervised. We appreciate your cooperation.
