Balaam. Balaam heard the Lord on that
path, after his eyes were opened, but he
had committed to see the king of Moab.
He arrived to Balak, and warned Balak he
could only do what the Lord directed.
Balak was confident the Lord was on the
side of Moab, and ordered a massive stone
altar be built in the hills over a camp of the
Jews. Animals were slaughtered, fires lit.
I continue from the Book of Numbers:
And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I
not earnestly send unto thee to call thee?
wherefore camest thou not unto me?
am I not able indeed to promote thee to
honour?
And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am
come unto thee: have I now any power at

putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.
And he took up his parable, and said,
Balak the king of Moab hath brought me
from Aram, out of the mountains of the
east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and
come, defy Israel.
How shall I curse, whom God hath not
cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the
LORD hath not defied?
A Notable Citizen:

Scenes From Around Town

There was much frivolity as Justice Rod Eun commenced an event at the

No. 10 actually across town at the Phoenix, where there was a community

swim. There were many happy conversations, and two brave children put

out a fire that Celestials set behind a vacant building.

Judge Eun emerged the victor in a lively contest with rubber bullets

and guns, in other words, a lot of fun. The event was coordinated by

Miss Salissa Wilder of the Bella Union, and with that dress around, it’s

amazing any breathing man could even look to another fellow to shoot.

The event clearly called for a lot of concentration.
