Are you interested in sustainable careers that involve the reconciliation of environmental, social equity and economic demands? This panel will give you insight into a variety of careers paths within sustainability as well as advice for pursuing a career in this area. After the panel you will have an opportunity to speak to the panelists and network. Panelists include professionals from the EPA, GA Solar Energy Association, Jexin Consulting, Energy Ace, and EcoMetrix Environmental Management. 9. PUBLIC SERVICE AND OUTREACH STUDENT SCHOLARS PROGRAM The Public Service and Outreach Student Scholars program is now accepting applications for 2014-15. This program, established in 2011, selects about 10-12 undergraduates (with at least 60 credit hours and a 3.0 GPA) to learn about and engage in UGAs Public Service and Outreach (PSO) mission and activities. It includes fall cohort meetings and trips, as well as a 150-hour spring internship with faculty in a PSO unit, with possible funding for an additional paid summer internship. Selection will happen during April, with notification by the end of the

semester; fall program activities include meetings on Fridays, 12:20-2:15, a Rock Eagle retreat Aug. 22-24, and a Marine Extension trip Oct. 17-19.
