PUBLIC SERVICE AND OUTREACH STUDENT SCHOLARS PROGRAM The Public Service and Outreach Student Scholars program is now accepting applications for 2014-15. This program, established in 2011, selects about 10-12 undergraduates (with at least 60 credit hours and a 3.0 GPA) to learn about and engage in UGAs Public Service and Outreach (PSO) mission and activities. It includes fall cohort meetings and trips, as well as a 150-hour spring internship with faculty in a PSO unit, with possible funding for an additional paid summer internship. Selection will happen during April, with notification by the end of the

semester; fall program activities include meetings on Fridays, 12:20-2:15, a Rock Eagle retreat Aug. 22-24, and a Marine Extension trip Oct. 17-19.
