ABOUT THE AUTHOR:-

Vincent Roazzi is not an everyday success story. He is a person who not just
speaks success but also has achieved it.

Vincent Roazzi shares his life with the reader and tells the story of his hard
won lessons, the wrong choices he made and how he was able to turn his life
around. A great inspirational read, which proves there is more to success
than meets the eye. You want want to put it down.

Before he reaching the figures in the millions and gaining a reputation a

high class sales trainer, he grew up in Brooklyn as a car-stealing gang
member.

He always had a soft corner for the people who could not achieve success in
their life so Vincent went ahead with learning more about the science of
success so that he could help others to achieve success.

He was a product of his environment in the rough and tough Fort Greene
section. He went to school, but never got better than a C in an English
course. His dead-end beginning goes from bad to worse, with a once-in-a
lifetime shot at redemption.

After spending ten years to build up several family-owned businesses and

not believing there was anything left to conquer, he self -destructed. At age
32 he was a cokehead. But it took a few years to catch up to him. He was a
burned out gambler. His marriage (and five kids) was on the rocks. He
eventually lost his business, went broke, and went on welfare. By age 36 he
entered rehab, or else, as he puts it, "I would have utilized the only other
option left to me -- to take my life."

His recovery odyssey would take him to a construction company where he

enjoyed the refuge of manual labor. He was able to turn the corner when
hitting 40, going back to a life of sales by working for Cornerstone. He rose
up the ladder quickly, becoming their Executive Vice President. But it's
Roazzi's candid reflection on his fall and rise that make his new book, THE
SPIRITUALITY OF SUCCESS, a rather uniquely appreciated volume on
what it truly takes to be successful in life and in business.
So the basic reason for Vincent to go ahead with this book was like he
somehow even after such a downfall achieved success but seeing others who
have not achieved it yet he felt bad and so he started learning about the
success so that he could others in being successful.

SUMMARY:-

THE SPIRITUALITY OF SUCCESS is a fantastic read, sliced up into bite

size chapters, because as he says in the book successful people do not have
time to spend ages reading, so just perfect for 10 minutes quiet time in
between building your empire. The book is inspirational about people - and
about why many people don't achieve success ("people want to change their
lives - but they don't want to change (their lives!)", it's all about mindset and
what you have been pre-programmed to believe about yourself. Sets out
simple exercises that we can discover the true us and how we've been pre-
programmed and how we can alter that if it affects our ability to be
successful. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone setting out on
the path to become financial free.

THE SPIRITUALITY OF SUCCESS is broken into 35 small chapters that

are intended to be absorbed one chapter per day, so by month's end you will
have absorbed the universal laws of success.

He demonstrates how success is a science and details his ideas with proven
examples. He dispels many popular myths or misconceptions about
achieving and redefines what success is all about from a spiritual and
scientific approach. "The main theme," says Roazzi, "explores why authentic
personal financial freedom is more a result of who you are than what you do.
This leads to the realization that success is not a condition of life, but a state
of mind, a state of being."

Many people believe that success is solely dependent on physical and mental
properties. They believe that you need only have the right talent, think the
right thoughts, know the right people, have the right look, and pursue the
right opportunities in order to achieve the life of their dreams. While these
factors are important, many people do not consider the most important
aspect of success - the spiritual quotient.

The spiritual quotient is simply who you are and is at the foundation of
everything that I teach people about achieving success. It involves
becoming successful on the inside first, which then becomes visible on the
outside for the whole world to see. It is possible for it to happen in reverse,
but is much more difficult to sustain. The reason for this difficulty is that we
begin to believe our own press clippings about how wonderful we are. As a
result, the untamed ego grows stronger and wilder to the point where it runs
rampant, and we become more and more self-centered. Lack of success
soon follows. That's why some people achieve what appears to be success,
but they just can't seem to hold on to it. Then self-destruction sets in
because they are living their lives in conflict; they are not living life as a
whole individual.

In order for a person to become whole, he must be whole physically,

mentally and spiritually. If any of those is lacking, then a person is not
complete, and that has its consequences. Since authentic success is simply a
reflection of the person, it too must be whole--physically, mentally, and
spiritually. If it isn't, it won't feel good. It won't be authentic and it won't
last because the formula by which it has been achieved is incomplete, and
therefore, the resulting success, if any, will be incomplete.

Our core values are those values that reflect who we truly are and what we
believe is important in life. It is difficult for many of us to separate our core
values from our conditioned values, which are the values that our well-
meaning family, friends and teachers have imposed upon us throughout life.
But unless we do so, we live a life of inner conflict, which holds us back
from achieving genuine and lasting success. Exercises to identify our core
values from your conditioned values can be found in Chapter 5 of "The
Spirituality of Success."

Roazzi exposes the truths and fallacies of today's popular success formulas,
highlighting the scientific principles behind many achievement techniques,
such as visualization, focus, and positive thinking.
The book is sprinkled with few of his one-liners. Following are few of
them:-

* Success is not in the doing, it’s in the being!

* People want to change their lives, but they don’t want to change (their
lives)!
* Ninety-three percent of people have the wrong formula for success!
* You’ll know you’re on the right track if at least 93 percent of people
disagree with you.
* Nothing in this world can resist a person on a mission.
* In order to be successful, you have to be stupid and lazy!
* Success is not logical!
* Your ego is the source of all of your pain!
* Be thyself!
* Test your own limits, not those of the world.
* Your conditioned values are the source of all of your feelings of
inadequacy.

* Your life’s continual confirmation of your core values is elemental to
long-lasting success.
* Who you are today is not your doing.

* You either plan your success, or you plan your failure.
* Not exercising control is within your control.
* Those who are successful see things differently. They create their own
reality.

* A man will always accomplish his primary objective-even if it is unknown
to him!
* You can’t change your life without changing your life!
* It may be your success, but everyone else has a stake in it also.
* Success in anything teaches you about success in everything.
* Success is happiness.
* Success is not a condition of life, it is a state of mind.
* Give as many people as you can a vested interest in your success.
* The law of compensation states that no act goes unrewarded.
* The pursuit of affluence will drive it away.
* Nature is perfection in action. The universe is perfection in action.
* Just as everything in the universe is already perfect, so are you.
* Success is your destiny!
* Let your adversities, your weaknesses, teach you instead of using them as
a source of guilt and remorse!
* Goal setting should come with a warning label!

There were few one liners which actually touched me was “My job is to help
you. Your job is to try to be helped.”
How softly and smartly he wants people to achieve success that’s what is
shown in the previous line.

Vincent doesn’t want to spoon feed the people but he wants them to just get
on the track with a little motivation and wanted to get them a taste of success
with this wonderful book which is so nicely divided in 35 chapters each
coming up with precious success stories.
In order to get success for others, Vincent did a heavy research on success.
Vincent in one of his chapters has mentioned that “success is nothing but
infinity” which means there is no end to it and its all from ones within that
whether he has achieved success or not.
There may be various authors writing about success with doing research or
sometimes even without doing a proper research. But Vincent not only
wanted learn about success but he wanted to study both success and failure
and as well he studied failure first because it intrigued him that a person with
all the necessary tools was not assured of success.

The Spirituality of Success demonstrates that success is a science and

explains its principles. The author also dispels many popular myths of
achievement and reveals the reasons why success eludes most people. Why
haven't you achieved the success you desire? Here are just a few reasons:
Success is not logical. Failure is a learned treat. Your expectations become
your excuses.
This book presents an objective perception of the notion of success, which is
full of unique insights and interesting conclusions. Book teaches the secrets
to achieve lasting financial independence and happiness with integrity. The
Spirituality of Success explains the science behind human actions such as,
visualization, positive thinking, and time management.
KEY LEARNINGS:-

This book is almost a life changing book if you actually go ahead positively.
The best part in this book is that the author believes that people learn and
memorize more with repeatation so for that the author has used few things
again and again like “the conquering of fear is beginning of wisdom” in
order to put it into readers mind so that it will help the readers to achieve
success.
With the repeatation of sentences the author has included one more thing in
his book that is points to ponder which is there after every chapter and which
helps us in learning and getting to know about success better and sooner.

The author shows us both the faces of a coin where one side we have success
and one side we have failure.
When we toss a coin it might say success or failure and that is what I have
been thinking about it till now that being successful completely depends on
our luck and a little bit of hard work but after reading this particular one
from Vincent my thinking completely changed and now I believe that its
totally in our hand that where or which face of the coin we want to stand at.

In the 19th chapter that’s “thoughts are alive” the author came up with a
beautiful short story or a short scene of a farmer and a traveler which shows
that people will reflect back to us our own reality.

Similarly the author in one of his chapters POTPOURRI came up with a

wonderful quote which goes like this “you can’t discover what you don’t
know based on what you know”.
This quote is so very true and today I got the answer which I have been
asking myself for ages.
Always I used to think what all I know and what I don’t.
But after reading the quote by Vincent I got to know that how will I what all
I don’t know because I cant discover what I don’t know based on what I
know.

These things actually kept me excited, curious and motivated to finish the
book and start looking for some more.
In another chapter by the author another interesting quote i.e “we search a
lifetime to find what was always there” is so true because when I started
reading this book I started relating all the scenes presented by the author to
my own personal experiences and which actually made me to like the book
even more and more.
The above statement is so true but the thing is like because of our busy
schedule and lack of time for oneself we do not look or think about all this
which throws us far away from success.
Self realization and self actualization are few things required by us so we
should definitely take out time for ourselves and talk to ourselves in get
better results and to become successful and to fulfill the authors dream.
