WORK Oak Park Public Library Storytime Intern (September 2013-November 2013) Storytime outreach leaders in River Forest and Oak Park daycares UST Doherty Library Assistant (June 2008- August 2012) - Circulation, Acquisition, and Reference departments. Duties: customer service, aiding researchers in their endeavors, organizing library materials, opening and closing library procedures. After-school Nanny (Spring 2009-Spring 2010) - Childcare of three children ages two, four, and seven. Duties: ensuring their basic needs (i.e. providing food and hygiene care) and their thriving needs (i.e. attention, encouragement to learn, playing games and sports) were met, and various driving tasks including retrieving from school, sports practice, park visits, haircuts etc. VOLUNTEERING Casa Juan Diego (Summer 2004 - Summer 2012, Summer 2013) - A house of hospitality for undocumented immigrants. Duties: supervising the orientation of new house guests and projects by volunteers of all ages, obtaining and dispensing medication, processing donations, singing in mass choir, maintaining the garden, childcare, and other various tasks. UST Archives (Summer 2011) - Ordering and maintaining documents. Houston Heritage Society (Summer 2011- Summer 2012) - Museum guide. Duties: aiding patrons in learning about Houstons history and various exhibits, facilitating ticket purchases.

SCHOLASTIC EXPERIENCE Choir: University Singers (Fall 2007) - Biweekly practices, experience in traditional sacred music; CoCathedral of the Sacred Heart Choir (Summer 2008-Summer 2009): weekly practices and masses, experience in leading the congregation in worship; Gregorian Chant Choir (Fall 2010): experience in chant, leading the congregation on special feast days; UST St. Basil Choir (Fall 2010) weekly practices and masses, experience in leading the congregation in worship. Augustine Hall Living-Learning Community (August 2007-May 2008) - This UST community living focused on three aspects: faith, learning, and community. It provided cultural, educational, and life broadening experiences as well as ample opportunity to serve the community. Objective: the creation of a community of learners who wish to incorporate faith and academics into their professional futures. Ireland Study Abroad (Summer 2009) - Hands-on study of Ireland and Northern Ireland; extensive study of the Northern Ireland peace process (including interviews of key participants); live observation of Irelands House of Representatives and Senate and Northern Irelands General Assembly; meetings with Deputy First Minister Martin McGuiness, leaders of political parties, and religious leaders. Dickens Fellowship (Summer 2011- Summer 2012) - Officer duties, organizing monthly meetings and events (specifically the celebration of his 200th birthday) exploring the various facets of Charles Dickens.
