Aplicaciones:
The application list for this product has been compiled cross referencing the OEM Tool Code with the Component Code. In most cases the tools are specic to this type of engine and are necessary for Cam belt or chain maintenance. If the engine has been identied as an interference engine valve to piston damage will occur if the engine is run with a broken Cam belt. Do not use cleaning uids on belts, sprockets or rollers Some toothed timing belts are not interchangeable. Check the replacement belt has the correct tooth prole Always mark the belt with the direction of running before removal Do not lever or force the belt onto its sprockets Check the ignition timing after the belt has been replaced. Do not turn crankshaft or camshaft when the timing belt has been removed To make turning the engine easier, remove the spark plugs Observe all tightening torques Do not turn the engine using the camshaft or any other sprocket Disconnect the battery earth lead (Check Radio code is available)
Warning Incorrect or out of phase engine timing can result in damage to the valves. It is always recommended to turn the engine slowly, by hand, and to re-check the camshaft and crankshaft timing positions.

Preparacin
La sincronizacin de la vlvula en estos motores no se ajusta con el pistn N 1 en TDC (Punto Muerto Superior) si no con todos los pistones en la posicin a 90. Por este motivo los fabricantes recomiendan retirar las bujas de forma que todos los pistones puedan colocarse a la misma altura en las perforaciones. Donde el pasador de bloqueo del cigeal entra en la ranura del volante hay tambin ranuras de equilibrado en el volante en las cuales no debe entrar el pasador por error. Para garantizar que la herramienta est en el oricio de sincronizacin compruebe que las alturas de pistn son iguales con el pasador montado. Retire la tapa de las levas para tener acceso a los ejes de levas Retire el guardabarros delantero (Mini) Es muy recomendable comprobar la unidad Vanos y si resulta ser defectuosa, sustituirla (Vea el Manual de taller del fabricante)

Nota: Para ajustar la sincronizacin del eje de levas debe retirarse el tensor de la cadena de las levas y aojarse los pernos centrales del ajustador del eje de levas para permitir que el cigeal y las 2 levas puedan girar independientemente una de la otra, para ajustar la sincronizacin. Consulte los datos del fabricante del vehculo.
