It Happened One Night is a classic love story starring Clarke Gable and Claudette Colbert, winning the academy

award for best picture in 1934. It was one of the first films to demonstrate a journey action revolving around a love story: I believe that this film assisted in paving the way for many more movies creating a certain genre. The film is full of comedic elements as well as sentimental values that are sure to reach out to a wide audience. As the action progresses the characters in the movie grow to love one another, hit an altercation, then ultimately reunite with a happy ever after ending. Although it might sound clich this movie is definitely a must see classic, triggering various emotions and pleasing eighty years after its release.
