~ Dr. Poyntz’ background in media literacy focuses on theories of public sphere,
historical thinking and digital media technologies. He’s published in the Canadian
Journal of Education, the Journal of Curriculum Theorizing, Taboo: The Journal of
Culture and Education, and as a new book, Media Literacy: A Critical Introduction.
