1hls document supersedes all prevlous pollcy documents between Maven and lts employees. Any
pollcy contalned ln the Contract" document slgned between Maven and lts employees wlll
remaln ln ellect. 1hls document wlll supplement and lurther explaln any pollcy whlch may or may
not be covered ln the Contract". ln the event ol a dlscrepancy, the slgned Contract" wlll
supersede all other documents.
Lmp|oyee V|sa & Lm|rates ID
Maven provldes a 3-year renewable Lmployment vlsa to lts employees whlch ls only valld lor the
duratlon ol employment wlth Maven. 1hls vlsa ls sponsored through the uubal Slllcon Casls (uSC)
lree Zone. ln addltlon to the vlsa, Maven also provldes a uSC lssued ldentlty card to lts
employees.
Lmployees are responslble to obtaln the Lmlrates ldentlty Card, whlch must be kept valld durlng
the term ol thelr employment. 1he actual lees lor the Lmlrates ldentlty Card wlll be relmbursed
to the employee upon submlsslon ol actual recelpts to Maven.
Maven no longer provldes vlsa or Lmlrates lu lor lamlly/dependents. ll the employee choses to
brlng thelr lamlly, lt wlll be at thelr own expense wlthout any llnanclal remuneratlon lrom Maven.
Lmp|oyee Med|ca| Insurance o||cy
Maven provldes Medlcal lnsurance only to lts employees as a benellt. ll an employee wlshes to
extend coverage lor hls lamlly/dependents under Maven pollcy, he may do so at dlrect cost basls,
whlch wlll be deducted dlrectly lrom hls salary.
1he level ol coverage under Maven's Medlcal lnsurance ollcy may change lrom tlme to tlme,
partlcularly at the tlme ol Annual 8enewal ol ollcy.
artlclpatlon under the Medlcal lnsurance ollcy ls sub[ect to ellglblllty crlterla. Maven does not
assume any llablllty other than the provlslon ol the Medlcal lnsurance Coverage.
Lllectlve Cctober 2013, maternlty ls no longer covered under Maven's Medlcal lnsurance ollcy.

Accommodat|on & 1ransportat|on o||cy
Maven no longer provldes accommodatlon and/or transportatlon servlces to lts employees.
Accommodatlon and transportatlon, as an allowance, ls compensated to the employee each
month along wlth the salary dlstrlbutlon.
Annua| Vacat|ons & Absence from Work
Maven's llscal year, whlch runs lrom november 1

provldes 30 days ol pald vacatlon entltlement.
Any partlal year amount ls calculated as 2.3 days per calendar month. Any partlal month amount
ls calculated on pro-rata basls at the rate ol 2.3 days lor the lull calendar month.
Lmployees must llrst obtaln the approval ol Puawel Management ln the lorm ol a slgned Leave
8equest lorm", as per Puawel leave procedure, and submlt such document to Maven at least ten
days prlor to the begln date ol thelr vacatlon. unapproved absence lrom Work ls strlctly
prohlblted, and wlll lead to employment termlnatlon.
Lmployees may not utlllze more than the total ald vacatlon days they have accumulated as ol
the start date ol thelr vacatlon. Any vacatlon days exceedlng thelr accumulated ald vacatlon
balance wlll be consldered as unpald vacatlon, to be deducted lrom thelr Salary, or lrom thelr
llnal settlement.
Maven does not allow any Leave Lncashment lor unutlllzed" ald vacatlon. Powever,
unutlllzed" ald vacatlon may be carrled lorward lor a perlod ol 3 calendar months, endlng on

A|rfare (I||ght 1|cket)
Lach employee ls awarded one roundtrlp alrlare after each completed llscal ?ear ol servlce. 1he
travel has to be completed ln the economy class to the alrport nearest hls clty ol resldency ln the
home country, and sub[ect to approval at least 10 days prlor to commencement ol travel.
1he travel can be completed at any tlme durlng the year, but, Maven wlll only relmburse the
alrlare amount, sub[ect to the maxlmum dellned cap as per below schedule, alter the completlon
ol the llscal ?ear. ll however, the employment or contract ls termlnated prlor to the completlon
ol the llscal ?ear, the alrlare wlll not be relmbursed.
All pre-approved alrlare must be submltted wlth the copy ol tlcket showlng total alrlare, and
boardlng pass, to clalm relmbursement.
un-utlllzed alrlare cannot be carrled lorward, or encashed.

Cther Countrles (excludlng lndla, aklstan and CCC Countrles): USD 900]-
ll the alrlare exceeds the above dellned llmlt, the excess amount wlll not be relmbursed.
(note: vacatlon and annual lllght benellts are all sub[ect to approval by Puawel Management.
lncase Puawel Management changes vacatlon and alrlare pollcy, the modllled/updated pollcy wlll
be notllled to the employee, and wlll be lmplemented wlth lmmedlate ellect).
Cvert|me
no Cvertlme payment wlll be made unless approved by Puawel Management. All Cvertlme
payments are back to back, l.e., wlll be pald to the employee upon recelpt lrom Puawel.
Iam||y 8enef|ts
Maven no longer provldes any lamlly benellts, lncludlng, but not llmlted to, vlsa, Lmlrates lu,
Medlcal lnsurance coverage (as benellt), Annual/vacatlon Alrlare, and 8epatrlatlon lor lamlly
members and/or dependents.
SIM ] Mob||e Usage
Maven provldes a corporate SlM to the employee based on pro[ect requlrements, lor work
purposes only, wlth a maxlmum monthly llmlt ol ALu 200/-. Any amount (moblle usage and/or
data bundle) exceedlng ALu 200, wlll be charged back to the employee and ad[usted lrom Salary
payment.
1he SlM card must be returned to Maven on the day lollowlng last day ol servlce. lor those
employees who opt-ln lor Pandset ollers or any other plan, ln case ol early termlnatlon ol the
plan any penalty/contract termlnatlon charges or any addltlonal amount, wlll be charged back to
the employee and ad[usted lrom the llnal settlement.
Laptop
All Maven employees are responslble to have thelr own laptop as per thelr work requlrements.

employees who earller were provlded laptops by Maven. Lmployees may utlllze the same laptops
lor work purposes, but the repalr or any other costs wlll be at thelr expense, and wlll not be pald
by Maven.

1he payroll cycle runs lrom the 13th ol the prlor month untll the 14th ol the current month, wlth
salary transler/dlstrlbutlon on the last day ol the month.
Puawel Llne Manager approved and slgned tlmesheets lor the current Calendar Month (lrom the

to the last day ol the month) must be submltted to Maven by the 1

Any tlmesheet recelved alter the 1

Loss or Damage to the Company Assets
1he Lmployee shall be responslble lor any damage or lost company asset/equlpment
(both hardware and soltware) lncludlng but not llmlted to Laptops, Moblle SlM, and
Moblle Pandset, removable medla (such as Cus and dlskettes).
Lqulpment should be malntalned ln a secure area and sale envlronment. 1emperature
extremes, hlgh humldlty, statlc electrlclty, and contamlnatlon vla partlcles ol lood, drlnk
and smoke should be avolded at all tlmes.
lurthermore, users should saleguard thelr lnlormatlonal content stored at thelr own, on
removable medla and laptops to prevent unauthorlzed use and damage/lost to thelr data.
users shall malntaln a clean work area and guard agalnst potentlal damage to hardware
or destructlon ol data through splllage, carelessness, etc. users shall exerclse reasonable
care to protect Maven property when travellng.
ln case ol any damage or loss to the company asset employee shall bear the cost ol repalr
or recovery ol the company owned assets.
Cyber Secur|ty
1he employee wlll ablde by all rules and regulatlons relatlng to Cyber securlty at both Puawel and
Puawel's customer's premlses, and, lt ls employee's responslblllty to ensure that he/she clearly
understands those regulatlons. ln the event that the employee breaches any regulatlon, and ln

the event that the Puawel penallzes Maven lor that breach, maven wlll charge such penalty to
the Lmployee.
Non-D|sc|osure o||cy
Lmployee should understand and alllrm the need to treat hls/her employment contract lncludlng
lts detalls (compensatlon, benellts etc.) as hlghly conlldentlal, not to be dlscussed wlth anyone
except Maven Management. Lmployee should not dlscuss and dlsclose any P8 related lssues
dlrectly wlth Maven's customer, namely Puawel.
