The goal of the CTF is to demonstrate mastery of a wide variety of security skills while playing in a safe and fun environment. The ,o c-, ,ame Face ook CTF will e played in-person y teams of up to 1 people on ,ovem er 1st# 2314# at CosmoCa%*a Barcelona, Spa%n! ,o remote playing is permitted" all CTF attendees must e present on the day of the game. The CTF will run from appro$imately 13am to 5pm with reaks for co6ee# lunch and dinner. Face ook is sponsoring a party for all CTF players after the event 7 details to come soon+ +ual%",%ng roun)s -+ual%.cat%ons/ The CTF is limited to a capacity of 12 teams of 1 people each# and there will e a 8ualifying round to select teams. The 8uali*ers egin on .eptem er 29 th 2314# at 24:33 (;<T=1) and *nish on .eptem er 2> th 2314# at 15:33 (;<T=1). CTF log%st%cs All participants for the CTF will have to identify eforehand# in order to have access to the rooms for the event on the day. Badges and your information pack can e collected from the registration desk at the event on -cto er 41 or ,ovem er 1 st. Team mem ers may not move etween teams. Cf your team has fewer than 1 players you may /oin forces with another team so long as the total num er of players on the team does not e$ceed 1. Please let the CTF organi@ers know a out this ahead of time. The ma$imum capacity of the game is 1D people# to e divided etween the two rooms and the teams will have a ma$imum of 1 people each (12 teams). Face ook will provide the game infrastructure which gives 0ACE T0A<: 1 0thernet FG1& connection (133< its). 1 power connection (ma$imum consumption &33 )atts). 1 ta le and 1 chairs. CosmoCai$a will have a wireless Cnternet connection however it will not e used for playing the CTF. An information pack will e given to each team on the morning of the CTF. The information pack will contain detailed information a out the game# the rules of play and what CP addresses etc. need to e used to play. )hile we can o6er limited technical support it is the responsi ility of each team to know their tools and e8uipment and e self!su'cient.
