The Rose seeds you just bought historically,existed in the Pre-dinosaur era,natural disasters like volcanic eruptions,and constant changes in environment resulted in multiplication of micro organisms,forms of existence of mankind,animals,birds and butterflies.Any beginner can understand the role butterfies play in our green hemisphere.Butterflies suckle on the honey,that flowers produce,and birds pick the seeds,and distribute to distant and newer lands.This resulted in a cross pollination of many varieties of trees,fruits,and flowers.Charle's Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest was implied,and the plant world witnessed a complete change in colour,fragrance and other properties. The Rose seeds come in various forms,petal shapes,fragrances and growth.The Rainbow Rose is a normal rose,where each stem is de-classified and artificial dyes are used for colours.The other Rose seeds have come into existence,by cross breeding methods,like budding,grafting,and other reproducing methods. These Rose seeds come from southeast asian climates,which are more suitable for them,its a bit difficult,but if the temperature and soil conditions are well maintained,you can have a magnificent Rose Garden.

Here,we move on to the sowing,growth and care part of the Rose Seeds:

1.Take 11 paper cups for the seeds,you may decide how many you need to sow,decide wisely,you can preserve rest of the seeds in a warm place,for next season.Pick the seeds holding a forceps ,and gently grind them against a rough surface.I know its difficult,but this procedure is done to force germinate th seeds.

2.Refrigerate the Rose seeds for 55 days.This is to mimic the atmosphere of countries like Japan,Korea.Thailand,and China,and to boost the energy levels of the embryo,and make it suitable for sowing.

3.Preparing the Soil:Soil or the medium plays an important role for any plant to survive,kindly use a composite mixture of Vermiculite-Peat-Water Moss-Perlite and wood shavings of fern,make sure,there are no foreign bodies,like dirt,pebbles creep in.

4.After 55 days,you may remove them and soak the seeds into 40c warm water for 5 days please note,water should be pure,non-alkaline and non-chlorinated,this is the standard pattern all over India.Room temperature should be maintained,to keep the room temperature of 40c,an overhead lamp should be hung,and the minimum wattage should be around 20 watts.Move on to step 5.

5.Purchase a transparent plastic sheet from your local store,and spread it out,preferably on a table or ground,where ever lighting is possible.Remove the seeds on the sixth day,pour a fine layer 4-6 cms of the soil mixture mentioned earlier onto the film,and place the seeds evenly onto the soil,each seed to be placed 1 inch apart,and spread out on the sheet. The seeds should be covered with another layer of thin film,and the topmost part,or the film covering the seeds should be always in wet condition.

6.Sowing procedure is almost finished,and the seeds go dormant for 25-50 days,which we call a stage of nil activity,nothing would be visible above,beneath the soil the healthiest seeds will start sprouting in 60 days time,to help keep all the seeds healthy,a minimum spacing of 1 inch is suggested.

7.After the seedling sprout to about half an inch,move them to more bigger space,preferably 36 inch pots.The temperature has to be maintained at 18-40c,for the process to continue,and to mature into a healthy plant.

8.Some buyers may find the fertilisers with the seeds,and some may not,I have attached the Fertilser for some places depending on the soil and climatic conditions,while,some states have good soil and climatic conditions,and hence have not added the Fertiliser,as it may prove harmful for some states.
