ExamplesofthetypesofcorrectionsorchangesmadeinearlyeditionsoftheBookofMormon(excludingpunctuation)areshownin thetablebelow.In1879,withtheblessingoftheFirstPresidency,ElderOrsonPrattoftheQuorumoftheTwelveApostlesproduced aneditionwithmorechapterdivisionsandwithversificationthathascontinuedinallsubsequenteditions.Healsoaddedfootnotesand madesomechangesinspellingandgrammar.
