In this primavera installation we have to do following steps: 1)Project Management Database (PMDB) 2)Methodology Management Database(MMDB)

When you do Standalone Installation, It will install SQL server enterprise version and the client installation automatically in server, If you are having SQL already you can install only primavera, But you have to create PMDB and MMDB and you have to configure. If it is Oracle database you have to install oracle in both server and client separately.

1) For installing Primavera put cd1 and click setup.exe.. If you double click it will extract the file .

2)click next In the next window you have to type the product code which is given by primavera.. for example EC-C01

3)Accept the agreement and goto next

4) Next select primavera standalone and click next

5 )If folder is already available just rename as primavera 6 and click next

6) click next

7) check the box sample project and click next

8)Map the txt license file and click next

10)Automatically it will create the PM database and MM database and then it will ask to configuration for database

11) user name is pubuser.. Database : PMDB.. group ID : 1 and then click next

13 ) and then click finish 14) go to start all program-primavera-project management 15) you will get the GUI of project management and type username and password as admin

16) If you want to configure any database click database button and click configure

Then finish it and type username and password you can get into primavera.. For opening MMDB do the same procedure Now you can see the primavera window

To check the SQL Server you have to type the following username and password :
