Its FDA approved products lines consists of antibiotics, NSAIDs, analgesics, antiulcerants, corticosteroids, amoebaecides, anti-TB, oral hypoglycaemics, diuretics, beta-blockers, antirhythmics, anticonvulsants, antihistamines, antiallergies, antifungals, antipsychotic agents, nutritionals, tonics & herbal preparations. (PPI) then known as Pasteur Pharmaceutical Sales was established as a business division of Hexagon Chemical Corporation on September 1995. In January 1998, the Pharmaceutical Finished Products Division under Pasteur Pharmaceutical Sales was launched with Flamingo Pharmaceutical Ltd. of India as the principal supplier. Mr. Percy L. Cruz, the PPI President, being a pharmacist, personally takes care and goes to the Food and Drug Administration (formerly BFAD) for the registration of Flamingo products, majority of which are antibiotics. From then on, PPI had been recognized as one of the top players in the Philippines in the importation and distribution of high quality and costeffective pharmaceutical products from India. Through the continuous efforts of Mr. Cruz, PPI began importing from different suppliers. Some products are sourced from Korea, Pakistan, Malaysia, China and more suppliers from India. PPI started in the Generic market segment. But through Mr. Cruz' diligence, PPI expanded to cater to other branches of pharmaceutical business and different divisions were born. By 2003, the Branded- ethicals Division was launched. The target market of which are the distributors that have their own marketing arm and are in need of sourcing of branded competitive products. February 2008, was the time when Consumer Healthcare (CHC) Division was conceptualized. CHC started having ZLAN, a dietary supplement, as the banner product and later on gave birth to other products for common illness' that can be bought by consumers over-the-counter. In August 2008, Medical Devices Division offered disinfectants, IUD, and more hospital devices products are now in the pipeline. August 2010, marked the launching of TRUMED Pharmaceuticals. A new ethical division, that will be promoting to target doctors quality yet costeffective pharmaceutical products. Pasteur Pharmaceuticals Inc. is a dynamic company, and through the leadership of Mr. Percy L. Cruz will continuously import, distribute and market select pharmaceutical products and medical devices with efficient service to guarantee our clients satisfaction and the community we serve.
