This certificate course is divided into three general modules: MODULE 1: Foundations of the Compliance Function This module gives participants a comprehensive picture of the compliance function in banks, with specific sessions devoted to the state of the banking industry, the historical evolution of banking compliance, and the appropriate roles of a bank compliance officer. MODULE 2: Compliance in the Banking Industry This module focuses on identifying and resolving compliance issues unique to banks. MODULE 3: The Effective Compliance Officer This module identifies the technical, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills needed to be effective as a bank compliance officer.
