Basics:
How to make a new keyboard layout?
Turn the program on. You should see an empty keyboard like that one below:
To make it much easier you can just click: FILE and then LOAD EXISTING KEYBOARD to
choose the one you use everyday and to add those letters you need. You can also use an existing
keyboard to make a keyboard for a different alphabet to see where every letter should be placed. f you

How to add or replace a sign/a letter
&irstly' have to warn you that all combinations with ctrl key may turn on some hotkeys for
example ctrl(c and ctrl(v are used for copy and paste in many programs including those used
to write a text. )y advice * to add a new sign use only shift and altGr +right alt,
To replace a sign just click on a proper key and write a new sign +copy and paste it from other
document for example if you make a cyrillic keyboard for -ussian. * find the whole alphabet
on wikipedia,.
To add a new sign click first shift or altGr +on the left, and choose an empty key and then
paste a new sign or letter.
f you add a new letter which has also an upper case' remember to add both versions +lower
and upper case,. &or example: altGr a ! " and shift altGr a ! #$ f you want to write
upper case versions with %apsLoc& * look at the next chapter of the document called 'o( to

)y advice for cyrillic alphabets * /yrillic alphabet has more signs so it0s good to use some logical
combinations to make some letters to have more space' for example: write vowels with 0y0 like ya- yo-
ye +1' 2' 3, this way. write ya +1, using altGr and A- the same with ye- yo- y. +3' 2' 4, and also
write /h +5,' sh +6, using 7altGr8(7/8 and 7altGr8(7s8. There are also some letters in 9atin alphabet
with no e:uivalents in /yrillic alphabet like ; and <. This is why placed 0 +shch, on 1' 2 +soft
sign, on X and 3 +ts, on % +because of its pronunciation' -ussian 3 = >olish %,. To write 4 +ch, and
5 +hard sign, use altGr ( 3 and altGr ( 2. t seems logical for me. :, ?hat do you need it for? * f

How to install your new keyboard?

* all the dead keys you made
* all letter combinations with altGr and Shift
* check if /aps9ock works with all new lettersLsigns which have upper case
%Q /lick GroHect and then Groperties and make a name up for your new layout and choose a
proper language
