Sir, for the record we briefly talked outside earlier and I introduced myself and you introduced yourself and we talked a little bit about what we're doing here. I'm going

to give you what is Exhibit #A, it's called an Advice of Rights. Basically it's part of

the Garrity investigation and it reads as follows: "Advice of Rights. I wish to

advise you that you are being questioned as part of an official investigation by the City of Joplin. You will be asked questions

related and specifically directed to the performance of your official duties of fitness for office. You are entitled to all

the rights and privileges guaranteed by the laws of the Constitution of the State and the Constitution of the United States, including the right not to be compelled to incriminate yourself. I further wish to advise you that

I've been in similar situations where you got presented to sell as concept, but the devil is in the details and when you get down into those details it's a little bit more complicated than just selling from the 10,000 foot, that you've got to figure out how each one of these financing mechanisms work. Especially if they're from the Federal Government to make sure we won't end up in stripes and how it all fits together and then it flows after that, and I think that's what I recognize and appreciate because I'm fundamentally a part of that process where others are saying where's the bricks and mortar. I think that's the I issue. Was

there salesmanship from what David presented? Of course there was. But I think there was

also substance there and that's what we're flushing out. That's the way I see it. If

there's anything inappropriate or illegal I'm not aware of it and I would be very surprised. These guys, I assume you've looked at their resume and they're for real and they've done

As a matter of fact there's a group called CART, Citizens Action Recovery Team, it's a group of private citizens that help the city develop the recovery plan after a disaster. I was part of that in addition to being City Manager and I was one of the ones that helped do the phone due diligence on Wallace-Bajjali, and we actually had people that went and actually visited some of their projects to do the in field inspections including Trisha Rainey who is a Council member and including a whole team of people. During that process I found some things that at face value were of concern and did the research myself and made calls to other city managers in Texas and other people and got the low down on what those concerns were and presented them at a Council meeting, because I'm a firm believer that what comes out eventually needs to come out immediately so I was proactive. There is an SEC issue that

they have where they were fined by the SEC that I presented to Council and said this is what happened and this is what I found out
