Subject: Applying for the post of Programme Assistant at Euro Mediterranean Human Rights Network.

Mam I am writing in application for the position of Program Assitant being offered by Euro Mediterranean Human Rights Network. I am a 2008 intermediate college graduate with major subject major English, Sociology, economics and rural economics. I have done my bachelor of social work with major subject social work, psychology and journalism with second division marks. Not only this I got the opportunity to study juvenile delinquency paper in psychology. Right now I am pursuing masters of social work from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Masters of Political Science from Central Department, Tribhuvan University and Bachelor in Laws, Nepal Law Campus, Tribhuvan University. I am applying for the position of Programme Assistant because I believe it is a position for which I am well suited given the background I have gained working as an intern and volunteer position and my strong interest and commitment to the Programme Assistant position of . Mediterranean Human Rights Network. After spending almost a year gaining experience on my studies as a student, I joined CWIN Nepal on November 2009. I did so with the intention of enhancing the breadth and depth of my background in health, child rights and advocacy campaign, gaining experience in program and project management and facilitation within a dynamic and challenging work environment, and strengthening my writing and communication skills. During, my time in CWIN Nepal I believe I have succeeded in each of these pursuits, and have taken the opportunity to engage myself fully in both work of the Center for protection and survival of street children. After leaving CWIN Nepal, I joined Collective Campaign for Peace in August 2009 working as an intern volunteer in

the sector of human rights, conflict transformation, peace building and transitional justice and ended my work till August 2010. I also worked for SAARC Secretariat in Kathmandu from 5th August 2012 to 17th September 2012 and completed the study paper on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in South Asia. So with this vision I decide why not to join Euro Mediterranean Human Rights Network as an programme assistant so that I may contribute fully to the organization mission and programmatic development in the area of humanrights and conflict as well as enhancing and expanding my commitment to the program of Euro Mediterranean Human Rights Network. I have truly enjoyed the experiences I have had and the project on which I have worked since beginning as an intern at different ngos, and hope that my continuing enthusiasm for and interest working towards the issue of humanrights will make me a strong candidate for the position of Programme Assistant of Euro Mediterranean Humasn Rights Network.
