UNDERSTANDING THE RULES Teams, team members as individuals and advisors, are responsible for reading and understanding the rules in effect for the competition in which they are participating. ELIGIBILITY OF COMPETITORS TS 250 This event is open only to Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics, & Technical Institutes undergraduate & post-graduate student. SS 131 This event is open only to Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics, & Technical Institutes undergraduate student.

ELIGIBILITY OF VEHICLES Chassis: General Specification. Race vehicle, design & build by students from Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics, & Technical Institutes. Engine: General Specification. Engine must be derived from mass-produced bikes comply with the requirements Please refer to Technical Regulation for specified details
10. ENTRIES
10.1. Entries are open from 1st July 2013 or upon posting regulations (whichever is the later) and closed on 22nd October 2013. 10.2. The organizer may refuse entries without assigning a reason and the decision is final. The entry fee will be refunded to a non-accepted entry. 10.3. Maximum number of entries accepted will be at the sole discretion of the organizers. Organizer reserve the right to refuse an entry 10.4. Maximum team entry is two vehicles per class for each institution.
12. DRIVERS
12.1. All driver must be must be student from team institution undergraduate students and possess a valid Malaysian National Competition Licence (National License B) issued by MAM. 12.2. Each driver can enter 1 class only. 12.3. Drivers must not a professional driver. (Never join national or international status race) 12.4. Drivers must wear the gear for their safety. Racing Gear includes suit, gloves, full-face helmet and shoes.
13. ADVISORS
13.1. Advisors are referring to Staff, Technical Instructors and other related Professionals. 13.2. Advisors may advise their team on engineering theory, procedure to build vehicle (welding techniques and etc) and team strategy. 13.3. Advisors may not design, fabricate, present, assemble any components, repair any part of the car or maintenance work, testing or operating the vehicle. 13.4. Any direct involvement from advisors in rules 13.3 is considered as violation of rule itself and the team will be disqualified from championship.

Static Events score will calculated by cumulative point and converted to Standing Point The following are Standing Point for each event. Position 1 2 4 3 3 4 2 * 1
Did Not Start, Did Not Qualify or Did Not Finish status will carry zero of point Team who outcome with the highest total points will declare as EIMARace Champion If there is a team sharing the same total points, EIMARace Championship Position will be determine by Round 2 Race2 Standing result
17. RESULT
Results will be posted at the Paddock Notice Board and at the Race Control at the conclusion of each race. The published results will stand official, half an hour after posting if there has not been any official protest against the result, subject to the final Steward meeting.

Public Liability insurance will be provided by the MAM. The insurance does not cover crew of participant
23. ADVERTISING
The competition number and title sponsor stickers supplied by the organizer /promoter must be prominently display and must not be altered, mutilated, covered or erased. Infringement to this rule will subject to penalized or disqualification from the event.
Chequered Black/White Flag and Blue Flag The chequered black/white flag will be waved together with the blue flag presented motionless at the finish line on track level when a driver(s) precedes closely the leader during the final lap before the finish line Flags Which Convey Information and Instruction. Yellow Flag Shown waved at each row of the starting grid, this flag indicates the start of the race is delayed. Shown waved at the flag marshal post, this flag indicates that there is a danger ahead. The drivers must slow down and prepared to stop. Overtaking is forbidden up until the point where the green flag is shown. Any infringement of this rule during practice session will results in cancellation of the time of the lap during which the infraction occurred. During the final inspection lap, the flag must be waved at the exact place where the flag marshal will be positioned during the practice, the warm ups and races. National / State/ Green Flag or Traffic Light: Race starting
Red Flag or Red Light: When the race or practice is being interrupted, the red flag will be waved at each marshal post and the red lights (if available) around the track will be switched on. Driver must return slowly to the Start /Finish line. When the pit exit is closed, this flag will be showed motionless at the pit lane exit and light (if available) will be switched on. Drivers are not allowed to exit the pit-lane. Any infringement of this rule will be penalized with one of the following penalties: Fine disqualification withdraws of points suspension. The red flag will be shown motionless at the starting grid at the end of sighting lap and at the end of the warm up lap. Must be shown when a race or practice is interrupted & upon the order of the Chief of Jury. All drivers must slow down, must not overtake and return slowly to the paddock. The red flag may also be used to close the track. Black Flag with White Number on Black Signaling Board: Inform the driver shown to, that he must stop at his paddock on the next lap. Report to Chief of Jury Flags used at the observation post Yellow Flag: Signal of danger Shown waved at the flag marshal post, this flag indicates that there is a danger ahead. Overtaking is forbidden up until the point that the green flag is shown. Slow down and be prepared to stop. Any driver caught overtaking at this point by the official, will be subject to a deduction of one lap for the race or fine or exclusion from the race. During the final inspection lap, this flag must be waved at the exact place where the flag marshal will be positioned during the practices, the warm ups and races. Black Flag: This Flag is designed to convey instructions to one driver only and is displayed motionless at the start/finish line together with the drivers number. The driver must stop at the paddock at the end of current lap and cannot restart. Any infringement of this rule will be penalized with one of the following penalties: Fine - disqualification - withdrawal of the Championship points suspension. Black Flag with Orange Disk ( 40 cm) The black flag is used to convey instruction to one driver only and is displayed motionless at each marshal post together with the driver numbers. The flag informs the driver that his vehicle has mechanical problem likely to endanger himself or others, and that he must immediately leave the track. Any infringement of this rule will be penalized with one of the following penalties: Fine disqualification - withdrawal of the Championship points suspension.
27. MEDICAL
Competitors involved in accidents during the events will have to be re-examined by the Medical Panel as soon as discharged from the hospital of admission. The competitors medical report from the hospital of admission will be forwarded to the MAM Motorsports department. Relevant documents that must be submitted together with their medical claims and reinstatements of their licenses are as follows: Copy of Identity Card/Passport. Copy of Competition License. Original duly completed Claim Form. Original Payment Bills. Original Medical Certificates. Original Medical Report from the hospital of admission.
28. PITS/PADDOCK
All repairs and adjustment to the machine during the races must be performed in the specific area designated at the paddock. It is the responsibility of each team/competitor to ensure that his pit crew knows the rules. Drivers upon entering the pit/paddock after each practice or race must adhere to the speed limit allowed. Any driver caught riding recklessly in the pits and paddock may be excluded from the event. No children below 12 years old are allowed at the pit/paddock.
30. PENALTIES
The following penalties will be applicable during the practice, test, qualifying and final race. Other infringements not stated below, will fall under the jurisdiction of the stewards of the meeting. 30.1. 30.2. 30.3. 30.4. 30.5. 30.6. 30.7. 30.8.
