Wired/wireless student access is widely available but is NOT permitted in ITD PC Rooms. Advice on laptop connectivity is available via Laptop Clinics run during semester every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 2.30pm 3.30pm in the Library PC Area.

Dear Student, Welcome to the University of Limerick and the Information Technology Division. ITD provide students with computing, print, email and internet facilities Personal Computers are located in rooms across campus giving access to MS Office 2010 and Internet Explorer together with general-purpose and course-specific software programs. Wi-Fi is also widely available allowing students to use personal laptops, tablets and smartphones
Students with any problems related to using the equipment should go to one of the Computer Laboratory Attendants located in the ITD managed student PC Rooms. Computer Laboratory Attendants work Mon - Fri 9.00am - 10.15pm during semesters. If you have problems with your University student record, including personal information, grant record, pin number, module registration, exam results or viewing transcripts Email: saa@ul.ie. Staff in this department will assist. They will also reset failing PIN numbers to the default PIN of 9999.

What Password is used to access SULIS? Your SULIS password is the same as your computer account password. Why are my modules not displayed in SULIS? Have you registered for your modules? How do I put funds into my UL Student Print Account? (1) Go to the Print Room (E1-005) in the Main Building during Opening Hours 9.00am - 5.00pm Mon. Fri. or (2) Go on line using Online Print Payment system. A minimum of 10 is required for each transaction using this system. There is a shortcut web link on every student desktop to this site https://online.ul.ie/OnlinePrintPayments.htm Start, Run and Type \\payprint64, Click OK and Double Click on required printer. How much does printing cost? B/W (mono) Printing costs 7cent a page and Colour Printing costs 25cent a page. Where can I find the Printers?
Each of the ITD Managed PC Rooms have Mono (B/W) printers and some have colour printing facilities.
Can I find Exam Papers and Lecture Notes in Student Outlook Live Email? Yes. Once logged into your email click on MORE tab and choose UL Links.
