1(a) All animals exhibited must be in possession of the Exhibitor either one month before or one month after the date of the Show otherwise all prize money will be forfeited. (b) All exhibitors must be day members of the Society: Membership 2.00 2 (a) (b) (c) (d) CATTLE Only cattle from Accredited Herds in the Brucellosis (Accredited) Herds Scheme will be allowed to compete. All cattle exhibited uncalved should calve before 1st July, 2014 with the exception of back-calvers. All yield stock exhibited must have had no calf or will not calve before 1st July, 2014. No cattle to be shown from a stock in which any infectious disease has appeared within 3 months prior to the date of the Show. (e) No stock likely to calve on the day of the Show to be exhibited. (f) Passports must accompany all cattle. 3 All entries must be prepaid. Acceptance of entries by the Secretary cannot be taken as proof of eligibility. (a) In the Cattle, Sheep, dogs and Pets Sections, entries must be in the hands of the Secretary or Ringside Steward prior to the commencement of judging. (b) For Clear Round Jumping entries are taken at the entrance to the Ring on the day of the Show. In all other horse and pony classes, entries close on 23rd April, 2014. Late entries may only be accepted at the discretion of the Secretary but at double entry fee. 4 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. No protest or complaint can be accepted after the day of the Show. A protest or complaint must be made in writing and the sum of 10. must be deposited with the Secretary and will be forfeited if not upheld. All disputes regarding these Regulations will be settled by the Committee from whose decision there is no appeal. (This does not affect matters which are covered by B.D.S., B.S.P.S., Kennel or C.H.S. Club Rules). All Society Trophies must be returned to the Secretary 7 days prior to date of the Show. A parade of prize winners and presentation of trophies will take place in each Show Ring after the last Class has been judged. The Committee reserve the right to measure a pony if thought necessary. Dundonald Farmers Society or any of its Directors or Servants shall not be in any way responsible or accountable for anything that may happen from any cause or circumstances whatsoever to exhibitors or their servants or vehicles or any spectators or any other property brought into the Showground.

The sheep steward must be notified so that any regulations of the sheep and goat health scheme can be complied with. A Scrapie approved section will be available for Scrapie monitored exhibitors. A3 - CLYDESDALE HORSES JUDGING TO COMMENCE at 11.30am Affiliated to the Clydesdale Horse Society Judge: Jim Rochhead A shield (which will be supplied and engraved by the Clydesdale Horse Society) will be awarded to the best yearling or two-year- old colt or filly (excluding Grade-ups) registered or eligible for registration with the Society, not having won a shield before in its lifetime. The exhibitor must be a current member of The Clydesdale Horse Society. All entries 3 per horse plus 2 for First Aid Class 42 Mare Three Years and Over. Class kindly sponsored by Walter Watson, Kilmarnock Road, Dundonald. Class 43 Gelding Three Years and Over. Class kindly sponsored by Craighill Tyres, Irvine. An engraved medal is presented by the Clydesdale Horse Society to the best young handler aged 12 to 16 on the day of the show who has not already qualified in 2014. The capabilities of the handler are to be assessed, not the animal being led. The qualifier will be eligible to compete in the final at The Royal Highland Show in 2015. The Young Handler Scheme and The Young Handler Final is generously sponsored by the James Bennett Fund. Only animals that have already competed in the normal show may be used. Entire colts are not allowed. Rosettes will be provided to all entrants by The Clydesdale Horse Society. Handlers may still compete in the final at the Royal Highland Show although they may be aged 17 by that point. The qualifying cut-off date is the actual day of the affiliated show. This class is a qualifier for the Blair Castle Ridden Clydesdale Championships to be held at Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair on Sunday 24th August 2014. The first two in each class to qualify. Qualification may go down to fourth place, if horses placed lst and 2nd have previously qualified. Registered Clydesdales and those eligible for registration may Qualify and enter for the Championship. PONIES (RIDDEN) This Show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (B.S.P.S.), (Number 0006) and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in B.S.P.S. classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S. are subject to the Rules of the B.S.P.S., including the disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S. This show is a qualifier for the 2014 B.S.P.S. Championship Show to be held at Arena UK. The 1st and 2nd prize winners in classes 55,56,57,58,61,62,63,64, 69 & 70 the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners in Classes 54,59,60 & 68 and the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th prize winners in Classes 53,65 and 67 will qualify provided the animal is registered in accordance with Rule 23 and 28 and ridden by a B.S.P.S. member. This Show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S. Challenge, the highest placed pony in the Lead Rein, First Ridden, Open Show Pony, Open Show Hunter Pony Nursery Stakes, Open Working Hunter Pony and Open Intermediate SH, SRT and WH that has not qualified for the B.S.P.S. 2014 Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the B.S.P.S. Challenge, the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. In the Cradle Stakes the highest placed pony that has not qualified for the BSPS Challenge will qualify, if the highest placed pony has already qualified, the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. The final will be held at The BSPS Summer Championship Show. This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Best Rider of the Year. The Best Rider in the Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Mixed height Show Pony, the l22cms, l33cms, l43cms and l53cms. SHP, the Cradle and Nursery Stakes, the l33cms, l43cms and l53cms. WHP, Open Intermediate SH, SRT and WH will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the BSPS Summer Championships Show. This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Champion of Champions. The Champion Mini Show Pony, The Champion Mini WHP, The Champion Open WHP, Champion SHP and the Champion Intermediate will qualify. This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS PREMIER LEAGUE, the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th placed ponies in the Lead Rein and First Ridden, Show Pony, l22cms., l33cms., l43cms., and l53cms. Show Hunter Pony, Cradle and Nursery Stakes l33cms., l43cms., and l53cms. Working Hunter Pony, Open Intermediate SH, SRT and WH. Rule 23: Ponies must be registered before the date of the Show at which they qualify for the B.S.P.S. Summer and Winter Championships, except in the case of exhibitors who have never been members before who are allowed 7 days in which to become members arid register their ponies providing they have a valid J.M.B. Certificate before the date of the Championship they qualifiy for. Rule 28: Owners, Riders and Ponies must be registered with the BSPS before the date of the show at which they qualify for the B.S.P.S. Summer and Winter Championships, except in the case of exhibitors who have never been members before who are allowed 7 days in which to become members and register their ponies. ALL CLASSES OPEN TO NON-MEMBERS OF THE B.S.P.S. In particular, riders attention is drawn to the Rule of Dress where correctly secured British Standard Skull Caps/Riding Hats Nos. PAS015, EN1384(USA) ASTMFI 163 that meet current Safety Standards MUST be worn by riders at all times when mounted. Course Builder - Tricia Fearn. We are a qualifier for the Blair Castle Open Working Hunter Pony Series: Class numbers 56 to 59 are qualifiers. Ponies placed first to fourth in each class will qualify for the Championships held at Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair on Thursday 21st August, 2014. Qualification may go down to sixth place if higher placed ponies have previously qualified. Classes to be judged in line with B.S.P.S. rules.

RING B - LIGHT HORSE (Ridden) JUDGING TO COMMENCE at 9.00am PROMPT Judge: Mrs Amanda Goldie, Dalrymple. Class 47 and 48 will jump in Ring C and then come back to Ring B. Class 47 NOVICE WORKING HUNTER, Horse Rider combination not to have won 5 or 1st at any open Show. Jumps not exceeding 3ft. Class 48 WORKING HUNTER, mare or gelding, four years old or over. Judging will be 60% for jumping performance (40% jumping and 20% style and presence) and 40% for ride and conformation. JUMPS NOT EXCEEDING 3ft 3ins. - Hyborough Challenge. Trophy presented by Mrs. Sally Gray. Class 49 SHOW HUNTER, mare or gelding, four years old or over exceeding 148cm (14.2hh) and not exceeding 158cm (15.2hh). Class 50 SHOW HUNTER, mare or gelding, four years old or over exceeding 158cm (15.2hh). Class 51 RIDING HORSE, mare or gelding, four years old or over, exceeding 148cm (14.2hh) and not exceeding 158cm (15.2hh). Class 52 RIDING HORSE, mare or gelding, four years old or over, exceeding 158cm (15.2hh). Prizes: lst 6 : 2nd 4 3rd 3 : 4th 2. Classes kindly sponsored by Tommy Floyd, Agricultural Contractor and supplier of quality Hay, Haylage & Straw Championship - The Societys Coronation Cup to be competed for by 1st and 2nd prize winners in Classes 47 - 52. RING C - Working Hunter Ponies. JUDGING TO COMMENCE at approx. 1O.30am for Class 53 Class 56 WILL COMMENCE pm. Jumps will be set at height in accordance with BSPS Handbook. Class 47 & 48 will jump in Ring C and then return to Ring B. Judge: Mrs. P.C. Stirling, Galashiels. Class 47 NOVICE WORKING HUNTER, Horse or Rider combination not to have won 5 or 1st at any open Show. Jumps not exceeding 3ft. Class 48 WORKING HUNTER, mare or gelding, four years old or over. Judging will be 60% for jumping performance (40% jumping and 20% style and presence) and 40% for ride and conformation. JUMPS NOT EXCEEDING 3ft 3ins. - Hyborough Challenge Trophy presented by Mrs. Sally Gray. Class 53 The BSPS Mixed Height Novice W.H.P./WH Mare or gelding 4 years and over not exceeding 158cm (15.2hh). Riders MUST Jump in their correct height section and be the correct age for the height of the animal they ride. Riders may ride more than one pony providing the animals are of different Height sections. Riders must declare if they are competing in the 153cm or the Intermediate Section. Jumping phase starts with 158cm height section. Class 54 The BSPS CRADLE STAKES, mare or gelding, four years old and over not exceeding 122cm (l2hh). Riders not to have attained their 11th Birthday before 1st January, in the current year. Class 55 The BSPS NURSERY STAKE5, mare or gelding four years old and over not exceeding 133cm (l3hh). Riders not to have attained their 13th Birthday before 1st January, in the current year. The Corsefords Topaz Nursery Stakes Trophy - presented by the Rodman Family. BSPS MINI WORKING HUNTER PONY CHAMPIONSHIP to be competed for by the 1st and 2nd prize winners in Classes 54 & 55. The Champion will qualify for the Champion of Champions.

Class 56 The BSPS OPEN W.H.P. Mare or gelding, four years old and over not exceeding 133cm (l3hh). Riders not to have attained their l4 Birthday before 1st January, in the current year. Mare or gelding, four years old and over exceeding 133cm (l3hh), and not exceeding 143cm (l4hh). Riders not to have attained their 17th Birthday before 1st January, in the current year. Class 58 The BSPS OPEN W.H.P. Mare or gelding, four years old and over exceeding 143cm (l4hh), and not exceeding 153cm (l5hh). Riders not to have attained their 20th Birthday before 1st January, in the current year. Class 59 The BSPS OPEN INTERMEDIATE WORKING HUNTER. Mare or gelding. 4 years old or over, exceeding 148 cms. (14.2hh) and not exceeding l58cms. (15.2hh). Riders not to have attained their 25th Birthday before 1st January in the current year. BSPS Working Hunter Pony Championship for the Morag Hay Memorial Trophy to be competed for by the 1st and 2nd prize winners in Classes 56-59. The Champion will qualify for the Champion of Champions.
