Rosemary Brown (1916-2001) chronicled in three autobiographies her experiences channeling new compositions rom such amous composers as !is"t# $hopin and Beetho%en& Rosemary's irst memoir (n inished )ymphonies (19*1) included her commentary about the +irect ,oice mediumship o !eslie -lint& .ere are some excerpts& You may have guessed that Chopin has a very strong accent, and I had a rather interesting experience regarding that. I belong to the Churches' Fellowship for hysical and !piritual !tudies and I met one of the members, the "everend #arham, down here in $ondon on a visit from "ugby where he lives. %e as&ed me what Chopin's voice was li&e and I tried to describe the timbre and accent to him. It is a rather hus&y voice but not deep and with a great many inflections in the tone. 'hen the "ev. #arham said( )I have a tape recording that I too& when I went to see a direct voice medium called $eslie Flint. It seems the person spea&ing was Chopin. *ould you see whether you thin& it sounds li&e Chopin or not+) *ell, I &new of $eslie Flint. %e is very famous in psychic circles and very reputable, and naturally I was fascinated to hear if the voice was the same one I had been hearing for the past few years. It was exactly the same. 'he same pitch, the same strange accent. ,n accent which is sort of French, but not -uite. Rosemary related other circumstances in her li e in%ol%ing !eslie -lint& Firstly, one afternoon I was watching '. with a -uic& cup of tea when I suddenly had a feeling that I ought to switch to the other channel/the 0amonn ,ndrews program. 1y son, 'homas, wasn't very pleased because he preferred the other programme, but my hunch was -uite strong so I switched over to the other '. channel. I found they were 2ust about to begin a programme about $eslie Flint. 'here, on the screen, was a picture of Chopin and a tape3recording of his voice was being played. 4f course, after the tape was finished there were a lot of -uestions as&ed, and I thought $eslie Flint spo&e out very bravely and calmly and said what a pity it is that people/and very often the ones you would thin& would be interested/seem to want to do everything possible to disprove any &ind of contact with the other world, instead of trying to thin& about the evidence and give it a chance.

'hey played tapings of two or three other people as well/4scar *ilde, and 0llen 'erry, as I remember. ,nd then the usual -uestion came( )*hy is it always famous people+) $eslie Flint gave the same answer that I do. It is not always famous people, but if the beings who have come through are someone's friend or relative and un&nown to the world, they don't mean a thing to the public at large. eople who are famous and &nown to the public are more interesting because one can chec& up more easily on them than is possible with totally un&nown voices. 'he second se-uel to the $eslie Flint story is that I became so intrigued with hearing Chopin's voice through another medium of communication that I had some )sittings) with 1r. Flint myself. 'hey were incredibly successful5 Chopin& Beetho'en& Lis(t& and )ir *enry +ood ,who does occasionally 'isit me- all coming through and reiterating their reasons .or the wor . Clara )chumann& surprisingly& also came through& and e/ually surprisingly& Lis(t seemed to ha'e the most di..iculty ma ing contact with the direct 'oice method. *e complained that it was 'ery di..icult& and that he had become so used to spea ing with me direct he .ound it much harder this way. Chopin, on the other hand, has obviously completely mastered the direct voice method. %e chatted away, and became very cross with me in his bantering fashion because I called him 1onsieur Chopin. )*hat is all this '1onsieur Chopin'+) he said, his voice rising. )If you do not call me Frederic&, I will not call you "osemary6) 7%e pronounced my name as )"osemarie.)8 #ut all of them stressed again the importance of the wor& I am doing for them and said how glad they were that the results were beginning to be seen by the outside world. ,nd you can imagine how comforting it was to me to hear that confirmed/and entirely through the wor& of another medium. /re%ious blog posts about !eslie -lint include 0(ni1ue Recordings o +irect ,oice /henomena0# 0!in2 to a 3ew Recording at 4he !eslie -lint 5ducational 4rust 6ebsite0 and 0+irect ,oice )eance /henomena0& .ere is a lin2 to the page o -rederic $hopin recordings i you would li2e to listen to them yoursel & /osted 7th )eptember 2012 by 8ar2 Russell Bell
