What are the types of governments ?

Democracy is when people vote for their government. For a president and for a prime minister. The countries of democracy dont always need a president or prime minister but they need at least one of them There are 2 different kinds of democracy direct and representative democracy.

Direct Democracy
Direct Democracy is an ancient greek way. Its when the government lets the citizens vote straight on an issue and any free man who likes the idea can vote for it.

Representative Democracy
Representative democracy is what most countries have today. This type of government is where you vote in it, but once you vote the president and prime minister you dont get as much control.

Dictatorship
Dictatorship is when one person is in control most of the time. Its rare that a dictator becomes power hungry and kills people to gain power, but it might happen. Most of the time the Military works for the dictator.

Some Dictatorship are Like This

A dictator starts to get more people believe him by artists making pictures of him which is called propaganda. And all the radio and T.V. always have something about the dictator. Everyone loves the dictator and no one realizes its bad because he rules whats written on the newspaper and what you see in T.V. Its like the dictator closes the outside world for you so you think its the best that he is a leader.

Monarchy
Monarchy is when the king or queen is in charge. When the king or queen dies then the oldest child of the king or queen takeover, but there are stricter punishments.

Anarchy
Anarchy is when no one is in charge and you dont own anything you can just stay home and eat ice cream all day long but you dont own anything so once you run out of ice cream you wont have where to buy it.

Why do government system change?

Government system change because sometimes the citizens dont like their government and so they want to change it. Or you vote and then the government chosen changes the government. Also sometimes the government doesnt work good in the country and so they need to change it.

Why do governments form?

Governments form because they most of the time help the countries. Also if you wont have a government then it will be anarchy and then there is a bigger chance it will turn into dictatorship.

What is the function of governments?

Its the people that sit in the parliament there is a (health person, education, culture, etc...) They also make the laws. This is how the room they sit in might look like this.

How do Citizens Help their Government and Vis Versa?

Sometimes the citizens help by making businesses with the government and also the citizens pay taxes. Some of them work in the government.

There is no place in the world with anarchy right now. I think its because there are enough people against it and also if a country has anarchy it will totally change the country. it can also lead to a war between two or more countries.
