Connecting the Device

Note:DonotplugyourUSBTVtunerstickintoaUSB1.1port.Itwillnotwork.

Installing the software:

ThefollowingstepswillguideyouthroughthestepsforinstallingtheArcsoftTotalMedia software. 1. OnceyouhaveproperlyinstalledtheUSBTVtunerstick,youwillseeadialogboxof FoundNewHardwareWizard.Justclickcancelandgetreadytoinserttheincluded KWorldinstallationCDintoyourCDROMdriveforamoreconvenientinstallationofthe software. 2. PleaseinserttheincludedinstallationCD 3. Themaininstallationscreenwillappear.PleaseselectMultimediasoftwareanddriver underQuickInstallation. 4. PleasereadthroughtheEndUserLicenseAgreementandthenclickNext.

5. YouwillbeaskedtochooseeitherTypicalInstallationorCustomInstallation.Itis highlyrecommendedthatyouchooseTypicalInstallationasitinstallstheneeded driver,TotalMediaandotherutilityprogramsforyou.However,youmaytickon CustomInstallationifyouwishtoinstalltheprogramsindividually. 6. TheInstallShieldWizardofTotalMediawilltakeashortmomenttoprocess.Pleasebe patient.

7. ThedialogboxofWelcometotheInstallShieldWizardforTotalMediawillappear. PleaseclickNexttocontinue. 8. PleasereadthroughtheLicenseAgreementandthenclickonYes 9. PleaseentertheCustomerInformation.Youcanmakeupausernameandacompany nameandthentypeintheserialnumber.

InstallingtheTotalMediawilladdnewprogramiconstotheprogramfoldersonthelist ofExistingFolders.YoucanenteranewnamefortheProgramFoldersorselectone fromtheexistingfolders.ThenclickNexttocontinue.

 12. Theinstallationmaytakeawhile.Pleasewait. 13. YouwillseeadialogboxinformingyouInstallShieldWizardComplete,whichmeans theTotalMediahasbeensuccessfullyinstalled.ClickFinishtoexitthewizard.
