3eporting to the Team2Technical Leader, the Trainee *oftware Engineer actively participates in the learning and building of self-knowledge on E4I websites2applications. The role includes hands-on development, testing and maintenance2support as detailed below.

$% Application de!ign and development 1* -ased on discussions with *eniors, Team Leader, ,evelopment 4anager, 5rchitect and2or end user representatives, design applications according to end user needs. 2* ,evelopment will use technologies such as 5*0.6ET, 5*0.6ET 4+), *alesLogi., )7, *8L *erver, %0/, %)/2%eb 50I, %%/, 6&ibernate 9etc. This could involve creating completely new applications or building upon the functionality of our e.isting website applications. 3* *hould be willing to work on any Euromonitor products :both %eb and ,esktop;. 4* %orks on any bugs or enhancements of different 0roduct:s;. 5* ,ebugs and maintains e.isting code. 6* 5pplies and ac$uires business and product knowledge in the performance of assigned pro<ects. 7* 0articipates in user documentation process. 8* 3esponsible for completing other work re$uirements or tasks that are re$uested by management when necessary to meet the goals and ob<ectives of the department or company. 9* 5ctively learning and regularly upgrading self-knowledge on the Euromonitor products and technical sub<ects. 10* 0erforms )oding and testing of software pro<ects after understanding appropriately the re$uirements given by business. &% roduct te!ting 11* Ensure compliance of final product with end-user specifications through regular reviews with designated end-user groups where applicable. 12* 0roduct testing according to benchmarks identified in the development plan.
