Message START: Dear Jessica, I have successfully copied and pasted a message into a document and will submit

this using the digital drop box. I have read the Syllabus, MyMathLab Document, and the Mathematical Notation Documents from the Welcome Module and I understand the following: I have thouroughly read the MyMathLab document where our course ID is and I have signed up for our class's MyMathLab Course. I will read my D2L e-mail regularly (at least every other day) and keep in touch with you via e-mail with questions and concerns. I will read the lecture notes each week before I start to attempt the MyMathLab homework to make sure I've fully learned all the instructor wants me to (MyMathLab covers most of the lecture material but is missing a couple of parts that the lecture notes cover). I will also complete the supplement homework found in the course calendar. Late homework will lose half credit. No homework assignment will be accepted at all more than 2 days late. It is my responsibility to double check to see that my assignments have been submitted correctly and on time. I understand that you will treat all late submissions exactly the same for everyone and every reason. I will make sure I am using either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for MyMathLab since Explorer and Safari often make it crash. It is not possible to extend deadlines for online quizzes and exams for individuals for any reason. The window for these is several days long and I am responsible for making sure my quizzes and tests are taken before the deadline. The only exception will be if D2L is down for more than 2 hours leading up to the deadline. The on campus exams are *required*. I understand that I must attend the scheduled session offered at PCC's Willow Creek Center for each exam. If I do not attend an on campus exam I understand I will receive a 0 on that exam no matter what the reason unless I scheduled with the teacher to take the exam before the scheduled exam date. The following are the only conditions for which alternative exam arrangements will be made and requests must be made within the first week of the term. I live more than 60 miles from the Willow Creek campus but within the US. I have a military training, medical procedure, or court date already scheduled which conflicts with exam dates. If any of the above conditions apply to me then I am responsible for contacting you by the first Friday of the term to discuss alternative testing arrangements. If I don't contact you by the first Friday of the term I understand that no alternative arrangements will be made for me.
