BEAUTIFUL MATHEMATICS

Simplicity, clarity and the revealing of unexpected connections are all key features of beautiful and elegant mathematics. There is no place for boredom, dullness and fear in mathematics. As a mathematics facilitator, I meet many people who are amazed when they come to know that I am in love with mathematics. They usually blame themselves or their children when their children do not perform well in this subject. Usually the fear factor from the parents is carried to the children and the mindset of the child forces him/her to start disliking the subject. Many-a-times, the teachers and parents constantly tell the students to practice mathematics because it is difficult; such statements usually limit the capabilities of the student t o make his own point of view regarding mathematics. A student then, is not able to correlate the subject with his/her daily needs and requirements of mathematics. Most subjects show their direct connection with day to day activities of human beings . Like, languages are used to communicate, use of science is also observed in environment on daily basis, social science /EVS is used to live as a social being in society, music is used to express emotions, computer is used for search and entertainment but there is one more subject which is directly or indirectly hidden in all above. It is Mathematics. Its existence is unnoticeable but unavoidable too. The lamplight should be drawn on the subject in daily life to inculcate the habit of being observant and to improve the intensity of connection of the student with the subject. I see mathematics as the most beautiful creation of the Almighty which is further, carried forward by many wonderful mathematical ARTISTS. The natural beauty and divinity of the subject is sufficient for its description. It is blessed with a perfect domain and co-domain with a wonderfully defined one to one correspondence. If a river flow, so does mathematics! With the blood in veins and current in wire If a bird sings, so does mathematics! I t calculates the 7 sur with its upper and lower nodes If the time runs, so does mathematics! It runs from one point to another If the Sun is punctual, so is mathematics! It follows all its formulae and methodology If the weather is unpredictable, so is mathematics! You cannot guess, you have to calculate it If the universe is endless, so is the mathematics! Even infinity isnt the end If a child plays, so does mathematics! It has Game Theory If we imagine creative things, even mathematics has imaginar y number i.e. (-1) = i, the divine i , which exists but a few can recognize it and no one can see it

and the mapping of one to one correspondence goes on and on, from the set of uncountable to the set of uncountable Of course, mathematics has given a lot to the world and it is rightly said that Mathematics is the mother of all sciences. But the Mother of all the languages, Sanskrit has shown a great compatibility with it and laid an amazing instance to the Modern world. Both the sciences have given birth to the Modern era of Technology. The introduction of computers has created the symbol of integrity worldwide. Mathematics enables computer to code and decode high level language into machine level language and vice versa. In short, globalization came into existence because there are some mathematical artists who have maintain the charm of mathematics. The one who understand this beauty of mathematics can never find it difficult. Mathematics is not only a subject to understand and pass in the examination but it is a subject to be applied, to be lived. Mathematics is Meaningful, Artistic, Tolerant, Historic, Emotional, Musical, Accurate, Trustworthy, Integral, Creative and Simplex. Love Mathematics, Live Mathematics
